Have multiple vendor accounts that have job costing attached but have erroneous balances due. I could go vendor by vendor (over 350) to repost payments. Journal entries invalidate the job costing. Is there a better way?
Hi, I have bought Quickbooks 2019 Pro version but since the current Quickbooks I am using is an old version I was advised by Quickbooks CustomerCare to download 2016 trial version. I installed the trial version but I cannot restore file or choose any other option. Refer to attached file. When I press any option nothing happens. Anybody had this problem? If yes how did you resolve it.
My business is a limited company. I have been paying business expenses (subscriptions, insurance, legal costs etc) with my own personal money as the business had not made any money yet. (Start up company) The business has now made money and I want to reimburse myself, not just make a record of it. First question: Is writing a cheque and then creating a Journal Entry the only way to do this? if not, how else?Second question: If I use the cheque option can I still just transfer the money via online banking from the business bank account to my personal bank account once I have created the cheque? Third question: When filling in the Journal Entry, under Account (on the creditors line) do I choose 'Director's current account'. I have read I need to use 'Owner's Equity' but that is not an option
I have a client who is Master Admin on their QB and employs someone to do the admin (Full Access), but when I raise requests they go to the Director and I need to change it to go to admin. How do I change the requests to go to a different email rather than the master admin.
I'm the owner of a company that uses quickbooks. My account number is: [removed]699. I have called 3 times but in each case the customer rep. is unable to assist as my quickbook online account is based in Ireland. So the UK can't help, and the USA can't help. The problem is that there's no phone number for customer care in Ireland. Can someone please help me as our taxes are due next week and our CFO needs the live banking information.

I am trying to print a check stub/remittance advice for a non-payroll check and it just takes me to the reprint screen. I don't want to reprint by assigning an old/new number, just want to print the details of the check. Is this possible?

Dear Forum Members, We have submitted improvement suggestions to the team at QB but don't see that they are being taken up. Hence, we would like to see who else would like the following improvements implement in QB, in the hope that 'community feedback' might see the implemented sooner. These are our suggestions:customer details -> can only be seen when you 'edit' their detailscustomer details -> customers have typically more than one contact person, i.e. several people and their details per customer is required (email, phone, mobile,...)purchase order -> must be able to send items/components we order to a contract manufacturer (i.e. NOT a customer but another supplier / in the drop down menu for shipping addresses the 'suppliers' don't appear)'products & services' should have a separate tab, i.e. like 'sales', 'expenses', etc.all VAT codes where changed when importing QB desktopcan't make journal entry changes at the year-end on entries before date of trans
Is quickbooks pro 2010 compatible with "Making Tax Digital"? Theer seems to be an option to transmit to HMRC, but you cant transmit until you are registered, and I dont want to register until I know I am able to transmit. Can anyone help?

I've just started working for a company that uses Quickbooks premier desktop. They've been using it just for invoicing customers for several years but since June having been using it for everything. Before that the accounts were just done on spreadsheets. The problem i have is that no opening balances were put in when it was set up so all the accounts balances are massively out. I have balances for all accounts from both Jan 1st when their financial year started, and also from June when they submitted their first vat return via MTD. How would i go about entering the balances and clearing off previous years data? I work for them in house so don't have the accountant version.Thanks
I am fairly new to quickbooks so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong. I usually use the mobile app and have had no issues but I also use Quickbooks online. I seem to be having problems with quickbooks online though, several times I have attached receipts to expenses but they dont appear when I log back in. Also it doesnt seem to update the work I'm doing when I go back on to using my mobile app. Is it better to just keep to the mobile app ? Thanks
The Setup:QB Pro 2019 Desktop with PayrollAdditional licence for extra user, over and above the 2 users permitted under the original licence2 full-access user accounts normally in use.The company file resides on a Server. The QB executables exist on the Server, as well as on the users’ PCs.Running file doctor, etc. has no impact on this problem.Running in Single User or Multiuser modes has no impact on this problem. The Problem:Although both user accounts are set for full access, the Employee Centre is usually absent, this includes for the Admin account. By usually absent I mean that normally the Employees pane on the Home screen is missing. The Employees drop-down menu is always present, but when the Employees pane is missing the menu has a limited number of items. One of the items is always Employee Centre, which will open the Employee Centre, but the Payroll tab is always missing when QB is in this “usual” mode. HiI wanted to set up 2 different invoice templates. One to print onto our letterhead within the office & the other with the company Header & Footer showing (to match the letterhead) , to email. (so interchangeable). How do i add a header & footer? (idiots guide please!)
I subscribed to quickbooks for £3.99 per month. After a month the app told me my free trial had ended and I needed to subscribe again. I decided not to. I am still being charged £3.99 but cannot use the app as it is still telling me to subscribe? I cannot get in to my account to press the gear icon to cancel that way. Could you please unsubscribe for me please? I have just paid £3.99 for an app I cannot and don’t want to use.
I have noted this extremely annoying behaviour over the last several months. When I return to my PC, even after only an hour, I find that none of the tabs I left open is usable. To reuse, I have to close the app, restart, close again and then restart a second time. When is this going to be fixed?

When I first set up Quick books both of my bank accounts were listed with transactions going through. One of my accounts has now become unattached and I cannot get it to reconnect. I get an error saying that the site is down for maintenance and to try again in a few hours. This has now been going on for over 1 week. How do I enter Interest Earned in to self-employed. If I use the category "interest on bank/loans" it enters it as an expense. My bank account (Starling Bank) is currently not supported? Regards Phillip
The new domestic (UK) reverse charge for CIS sub contractor invoices comes into effect October 2019. Will QBO be introducing a new VAT code for domestic use?
