Hi all, stopped using QuickBooks 18 months ago & have been using the data only export tool with no problems uploading our historic data to view, until now. When uploading our file it gets about 20% through & then kicks us out, just wondering if this is an us problem or the export tool? It is a fairly large file. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Hi,I have a littlebit of issue with the bookkeeping, when i do reconcile then QB double count the expenses there every time, So let me explain.There is an expense from my bank card when i purchase an item/part and also an expense for the same item/part when i invoice it for my costumer as "billable expense for client". This also appears in reconcile as an expens (invoice -debtors), and when i get a payment it is there once, so it double counts now the same expense(1, expense from business card and 2, as a charge for the client on the invoice)If i unclick all the invoices at reconcile then its perfect "difference is 0) but if i tick any invoice as well then the difference is well over 0, It must be some silly thing i recon but i cant figure it out. If anyone would have an idea please share it.It looks like the category i have on the invoice "billable expense for client" is getting counted as a different expense but also other "service" or "maintenance" as well, like these categories are

Hi There. I am trying to migrate away from my current order management system to QB and appear to have hit a showstopper...Within our current system we will regularly receive a "request for a quotation" from our clients. These will be for a range of products invariably that we need to source from multiple suppliers and offer on a consolidated quote / estimate. This seems to be achievable through the process of generating an estimate and sending it directly to our customer. At this stage in our current system we can simply accept the estimate once we receive the go ahead from our client, enter our clients PO number and the suppliers will automatically receive their POs for their element of the order. From what I can see in QB we would need to manually create all the suppliers POs resulting in more admin and a real risk of mistakes etc. Does anyone have a solution or recommendation to overcome this challenge. I have managed to reconcile a months worth of transactions in error. I like to deselect the tabs so i can cross reference them with the statement- reselecting as I go and amending as I go. When I did this I then inadvertently clicked reconcile - so now I have a reconciled month with no selected transactions. We don't share our accounts with the accountant currently and there are hundreds of transactions to get through.How can I rectify this problem?
