Last year we did a stock take and were able to import the figures into Quickbooks Online.This year, we prepared the CSV file and tried to import but it was rejected because the stock date was before our closed date. The closed date on our system is 31 October 2022. I have tried to import with the dates of 31 October 2023, 1st November 2023 and 2nd November 2023. None of these dates work.Quickbooks Support Chat were unable to help and thought that I might like to manually update 1300 stock records. I asked for someone more senior to call back and as yet I have not heard anything. Does anyone know: (a) how to import stock figures?(b) how to get support from Quickbooks? We have been waiting for other issues to be resolved for many years now.(c) is there a better system available for British businesses at a similar cost? Thank you.
I use QBOnline and the help says that I should see an option for Direct Debit Mandates; it's not there and I'd like to report on customers with Mandates and those without. Why is it now showing in lists?

I declined to upgrade Quickbooks and ever since Quickbooks is running very slow. I have contacted Quickbooks several times and everytime agents tell me to clear browser, which I do once a week anyway. Hello, I have little hope, as so far I'm having a carrousel experience, but just trying my final luck before I probably will have to end the account: is there a knowledgeable human at Intuit I can talk to AND who can really resolve issues?I have one outstanding ticket which has a lead time of months!!! Each time I receive an automated meaningless update and it is still not resolved. Though it has gone quiet for a while, yet it is still not resolved.When adding to the field that I want to Cc someone else in sending the invoice, it does something weird like sending it to that person instead of the main person.There is constantly one transaction to be reviewed, even though there is none!! Today I finally worked out that there seems to be one pending from quite a while back. No idea how to resolve that. And to make it worse, this week none of my latest transactions are showing up to be reviewed. Support over chat and email is useless, I really don't have time to keep sending

I have an existing business "A" and am starting a new business "B". The ownership structure is such that company A owner has a significant portion of company B but another entity has ownership of B as well. This means that company B can not be a subsidiary of company A, so has to be its own entity which entails that it has to file its own tax return and have its own set of books. Both company A and B have commonality in customers, industry, etc. and all sales are via ecommerce. So the simplest solution from both a technical and logistics standpoint is to go to market via company A website. This also gives the products from company B immediate legitimacy since company A is an ongoing business. Also, having one website provides for a more seamless customer experience, such as one shopping cart, payment gateway, user account, etc. So with the above in mind, my first thought is to set up a class for each company in company A and assign products (inventory) to them. OK so looked everywhere but I don't think you can do this which is a pain as needed for multiple clients So invoices need to go to email address A but statements need to go to email address B but for some strange reason this feature isn't available I know I can use multiple email addresses so could add them both in client details but then each mail box would be getting emails each month that isn't relevant to them and they'd soon be annoyed Can this simple and basic feature be added please?
We have recently migrated from Sage to QBOA, and as part of the migration process, the text for our payment terms were pulled through. When I look under the Cog > Account and Settings > Sales, I can see the payment terms names, but no details - as far as I can tell, there is no way to edit or delete any payment terms once set up. We are not using the old terms; I'm in the process of updating all our customers to the new terms, but it would be handy if I could remove unused payment terms. Is this possible?
I have emailed a purchase order to my supplier and just noticed the part numbers don't appear on there, I contacted support and they told me that's not an option. Anyone know if that's correct? Surely not?
Greetings I used to have QuickBooks desktop that came on some disks, but after replacing my computer I appear to have lost the disks. I have some QuickBooks backup files that I need to retrieve some data off.Is there a way for me to access the back up files without purchasing a new subscription to QuickBooks? Thank you.
