We have been using Quickbooks Desktop for an extremely long time with multiple companies we own.Along with that, we have merchant accounts set up for two of our companies that we accept credit cards for. We recently created a separate company for a portion of our business and we use Quickbooks desktop for it. When attempting to set up our card processing, we got declined. It's been months of customer service opening "tickets" and trying to figure out how we can make it work, there is still no solution. Tickets get closed without solutions or explanations. We were told to find a different company to process our card transactions on multiple ocassions as well, instead of trying to find a solution. We have asked if we can send proof of incorporation, or proof of indentity and no one seems to be able to help with that either. We have been loyal to Quickbooks and are very disturbed by the way this has been handled. Is there anyone who can help get this figured out? Or is the best answer Int
I need to speak with someone in QB Enterprise who is familiar with "create new company files from existing ones in QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise)". I continue to reach someone who means well, but has no knowledge of what I'm asking and continues to put me on hold and comes back with an answer to a question I didn't ask. I need to be the one asking the question to the people experienced in this so the question is clear and direct, not what an inexperienced person thinks I meant to ask. Does anyone know how to really get to knowledgeable people in QuickBooks??????

I cannot get my vendors to pull up when I am creating a P.O. I have logged out, and logged back in. I have also cleared my cache for my computer. Any help would be appreciated.
My client emails invoices and automatic reminders to his customers. Every time QBO sends the invoices, it emails a copy to billing @ myclient.com. How do I turn this off? When I look in Accounts and Settings, Sales, Messages, the "Email me a copy at Billing @ Myclient.com" box is NOT checked and the Copy CC and the Blind Copy email boxes are both blank. These unwanted copies are clogging up my client's billing email account and interfering with his business. Thanks for your help!

Hello, We generate 20-40 quotes a day. When flipping a Quote to a Sales Order, is there a way to have that Quote automatically close? We have many Sales People sharing the same system and Quotes have gotten flipped multiple times for duplicates. It would be great for the Quote to just close once converted. Thank you!

Good day all,I got a elderly client with a very old version of quickbooks point of sale, i believe its the 2013 version.In there z-out options under filters workstation name i am seeing something total different to what the pc name is. Is there anyway to change the workstation name that is being see by quickbooks ? Secondly on the z-out can the name of the store be on that report ?
Hi,Setting up a brand new brokerage office. The Real Estate agents will be 1099 and not Employees. We will receive the full commission checks and deposit them. Then issue agents commission checks minus any transaction related fees. We will also be billing agents monthly for associated monthly charges such as office space rental. Should the agents be both Vendors and Customers to accomplish this? When would they be setup as a Contractor. A little confused on how to differentiate of when to use each type for this scenario. (Customer vs Vendor vs Contractor)Thanks in advance for the advice.
QB premier construction desktop.......I created a template for a lien waiver under "invoices" with all the merge fields, etc. When I go to write a letter for the job or a customer letter, I cannot get to the "invoice" templates - it only shows me the customer/job templates. When I put the "invoice" template for lien waivers in the customer template area of my computer, you can select it however it says I have a bad string. How can I create a lien release under the invoice template and access it when I create an invoice to a customer??

Hi, I do a journal entry for payroll (we use Paychex) and I'm not sure that the retirement deferral is being entered correctly. It's been done this way for years, before I started here, but it seems odd to me that the deferred amount shows up as a negative under expenses when I run the P&L. I've attached a screenshot of how I was told to do the journal entries for payroll. Any help would be most appreciated.

QuickBooks just launched a new training program for us ProAdvisor's and I am curious to know, why? The same day it happened I coincidentally also received a credential from "Credly" which was new. I know the new program is in its early stages, but compared to the previous training modules I feel like there's a lot less content now. The Payroll Training Module is not activated yet so no one can even get that certification right now. What were the reasons for the full overhaul, and when can we expect it to be done?

In the Refunds function of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, when we input the customer's name in the customer job field along with their PO number, the shipping address that appears in the sales report is different from the one associated with the PO. It's a pain in the neck to correct the shipping address manually. Could you please advise?

I just bought a new MacBook Pro. My Quick Book file will dot transfer to my new computer. When I open it on my new computer I am told I have 13 sessions left to register the trial program. I open quickbooks and it is not my data, it is the trial data. They want my registration number from 2016, and I can't find it.
I am attempting to connect a bank account to accept recurring payments in our QB online. But I am being asked to verify I am the business owner and enter my social security number. I am not the business owner, and don't wish to have my social security number associated with this account. Can anyone suggest a work-around? Thanks so much.

Quickbooks desktop file opens login get all sorts of messages and then gives error and closes way to run rebuild. Is there a way I can bypass all of these messages to get up to file and rebuild or a key command I can press to run rebuild. The messages won't let me click on anything else.
