we use Quickbooks Advanced On Line. In the last month, each time I email out an invoice from the customer module, an unwanted AD pops up asking if I want to "apply to accept payments on line." attempting to X out of this pop up freezes the program and I have to exit and then re start. Quickbooks has done NOTHING to solve this problem and professes they don't have a clue how do solve the problem is anyone else experiencing this issue? have you solved it ? it's gotten to the point where I am exploring other accounting programs
Having a problem with Backups not running. We have two company files, I created a scheduled backup for each one of them, one at 3 AM and one at 4 AM. I entered my windows password and everything appears ok on the schedule data. But neither actually run. So I attempted to run a backup with the same settings except not on a schedule, just a live run. Both of them worked exactly as they were supposed to. What could be some reasons the scheduled backups don't run while a live run with the same settings do run? Thanks in advance for taking time to read this and offer some assistance.
We are looking for the schematic that shows the field-to-field crosswalks between QBO and Bill.com. We have contacted QBO as well as Bill.com and no one seems to be able to help. Reaching out to the community of users to see if anyone has such a simple document. Thanks.
According to the QB support site, support for Enterprise is available all day, every day. I spent almost all day yesterday working with QB tech support to install the upgrade. I've been trying to get help with troubleshooting and completing the upgrade to Enterprise 2024 (Desktop version) since yesterday about 3:15 pm CST, both by phone and online, and again since 6:35 am CST this morning. Online, I get "You'll get a call in 5 minutes," and when I call in, I eventually get to a message that says the office is currently closed. Any suggestions??? I have to run payroll today.
I need assistance on how to restrict user in changing or let me call it back dating during stock transfer. Precisely in transfer slip
I am in the painful process of the mandatory switch from Melio (which worked great and was free) to QB BillPay which doesn't work great and is not free. I am adding a new vendor. I want QB to ask him for his ACH details where he can enter them securely. Asking him to email his sensitive information to me so that I can add them manually is NOT secure and NOT professional. Help desk was not helpful and the forums suggest that this isn't a feature currently available in QB BillPay but I'm skeptical as this seems like extremely basic functionality for a service that, well, pays bills. Please, can someone give me a straightforward answer to this question: Can QB BillPay email a vendor to ask for their delivery details/ACH details?I don't need a tutorial on how to add a vendor. I don't need to give QB support all my private information about my business so they can look up my account. I just want this basic functionality just like I had last week when I was still happily

I’m traveling and using the QB app. I do not have global roaming on my phone so no phone calls or text, just email and WhatsApp. How can I authenticate? Can I change it to an email?
Hello,The organization I work for receives funding from government sources, which is used to offset labour costs. We're required to break down this funding as separate pay types on employees' pay stubs. The problem is that Quickbooks adds the hours of these different pay types together, and employees' stubs show three or four times the hours they actually worked. For example:An employee's base hourly rate is $18.00. They receive an additional $2/hour from a wage subsidy program, and another $1/hour from a grant program, for a total of $21/hour. Their pay stub must show the three amounts separately to prove how the subsidy and grant moneys have been used.If the employee works 72 hours, I enter 72 hours at $18/hour, 72 hours at $2/hour and 72 hours at $1/hour. But Quickbooks adds the hours together, and their paystubs end up showing they worked a total of 216 hours! How do I change this in Quickbooks Online so that the hours worked are accurate, while showing the different pay type amounts
We are a small church with a preschool. We're one entity in the eyes of the government (one EIN number) but pay church employees and preschool employees from separate bank accounts. But we file and pay taxes together, with the church reimbursing the preschool for their portion of the tax payment each month. I didn't set it up this way -- not sure who thought it was a good idea 10+ years ago -- but we have had Quickbooks Desktop installed on two separate computers, under the same license and Intuit account, but therefore creating two company files, one on each computer. The church computer houses ALL of its bookkeeping EXCEPT payroll -- income, expenses, reports, etc. The preschool computer ONLY uses QB to run everyone's payroll, for both the church and school employees, and for filing and paying taxes. Now that we're being asked to switch to QBO, I was able to migrate the church company file (without payroll information) to online, but am I able to also migrate the other
A few weeks ago an end-user that runs QB Enterprise v23 (Manufacturing and Wholesale) on her computer (which also serves as the QB server for three other workstations) reported that while leaving QB running but minimized throughout the day, it would just randomly shut down (and disappear from the taskbar) with no warning. At the time, she was running Win10 Pro. In looking at the Windows event viewer, I came across the following entries: Event ID: 4 An unexpected error has occured in "Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Manufacturing and Wholesale 23.0": LTSM:: Failure in parsing EWS Response. PSID= Event ID: 4 An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks": MainFrame must be already created by now as this dll is demand loaded I tried a bunch of troubleshooting based on the above errors, including full reinstallation of QuickBooks, but nothing solved the issue. I got Intuit Support involved (at an escalated level since I couldn't actually get anyone at a regular
I am new to QBO having worked with desktop for Mac until recently. Finding that when I am working in QBO for a while certain functions are non responsive such as Sign Out and Help. Also, certain 'windows' that pop up on the home screen (whether I want the info or not) show empty squares with a message: "Something is not working right" when this happens. Meanwhile I am able to post new Bills, Deposits and Journal Entries - or so I think... Without having to re-check all the work I have done to make sure it actually posted, how can I be sure that that part of QBO is working properly when the rest is not?!? Very frustrating in addition to finding QBO very cumbersome and slow, loaded with Add's and QB trying to sell me more stuff I do not want nor need! Anybody having the same experience, any suggestions?
Several years ago, Quickbooks Online made a change to their invoice templates, and as a result I lost my company's custom invoice templates. After several weeks and many phone calls, I was finally able to escalate the issue to someone at corporate who found a programmer who helped me recreate the templates. It caused many headaches to say the least! I am very concerned that after May 6 when "the capability to switch the old and new invoicing layouts will no longer be available" that I will no longer be able to access my templates or that they will not work the same way. Is there anyone at QuickBooks that can help me make sure that I do not lose my templates nor any of their functionality? How can we test this out ahead of time?Betsy WilkinsonOldenburg Architecture

I am using QB's Desktop Pro 2021. I do not use any online services. Which QB's software would BEST fit my needs if I should upgrade?
Hello For the life of me I do not know why intuit would share my email address. I got some spam today from someone that has partnered with intuit . I have sent them a demand to not sell or share my email to the office of the president . If I get another ima send a bunch of my partners spam to every intuit address I can find. Don’t sell my info .
In the QBNO fixed assets section, it said, " You can upload a CSV file with up to 100 transactions in it." Does QBO allow more than 100 asset records? If so, how do you upload more than 100 fixed assets records to QBO? thank you!
How do I get rid of the following annoying notice: Your reports may not display correctly if you're using an outdated version of Google ChromeIf you get the "Aw, Snap" error while running reports, make sure your browser is up-to-date. Select the three dots in the top right corner of the browser, then select Help. Select About Google Chrome. If you're using v124.0.6367.91, or earlier, update it. I am updated on Chrome, not sure why this keeps coming up
We used QuickBooks desktop for construction business. We set up customer and had jobs under it. Since converting from desktop to Online Advance on May 14th, there are issues with projects. We have a large project with currently 21 buildings. Some I made inactive, but the Customer and sub-customer does not show up in either customer or projects in order to convert to a project. This project has overall customer file, and each building is listed as a job with customer as parent. and under each building the units are listed as a job with reference to the building as parent. Each building has the customer's overall name for parent. None of the sub-customers (Jobs-Building or units) under this customer has shown under the convert sub-customer to project. We place estimate under building (Sub) and vendor item expenses hit building but there are a few that may go directly to the unit when sold such as closing invoicing, invoice payment, closing expens
Hello, good day, can someone from Quick Book support tell me how I can delete items that, for whatever reason, were not billed and appear as a suggestion for billing, since it does not allow me to view the items from this year, they only appear from 2018. and 2019. Waiting for the support of one of your support staff, I remain at your service.NOTE: Sorry if it is not understood well, but I am translating with Google since I only speak Spanish. Sincerely. We have three different bank accounts in QBO. I'm used to transferring funds between them. However, recently my ED opened a new bank account by writing a check from one of our existing accounts. I created the account in QBO, but now I need to know how to code the outgoing check - we use classes, so I don't want this to show up as a random expense. Would I use a Journal entry to show this transaction as a transfer so I don't have to class it as an expense? If so, how do I record the check number so that it doesn't screw up the reconciliation of the account it was written from? As an example, check #4 for $500 was written from Bank A to Bank B. Currently in Bank A's register, it is an Other Expense check written to Bank BIn Bank B's register, the line item is in Opening Bal Equity as a $500 deposit. Is anyone familiar enough with non-profits who class out expenses to let me know if I need to adjust these entries?
#1 - Where is the Audit trail now? Only available through the Audit Log? This article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/audit-log/view-transaction-changes-audit-history/L7obVhic2_US_en_US?uid=lw9tkl2w still references the "more" link that used to be at the bottom. But it isn't there any more on the new format. #2 - Why are the online approvals (from the new button that is sending with all estimates) coming in labeled as being from "Quick Books Payments"? Is QBs intending to start creating invoices too? Any way to opt out if that is the case? #3 - What happened to the "Closed" status for Estimates? When improvements are made, the standard is to increase functionality, not decrease it. I have run into these issues in the App, and in cleaned out browsers, so no canned "clear your cache" replies please.
When I close an invoice (or PO) after I have searched for it, the search screen takes me back to a different file, not the one I just searched for. So I have to type it in again to search for it. Is anyone else having this problem?
