When converting an Estimate to an Invoice the Number in the Quantity line is disappearing. The Rate and Total Amount stays the same, but then anytime I make a change to the description the quantity resets to zero. HELP!
New job. OK, so we're doing something really... quickbooks-challenged here. Why? Because we don't know what we're doing. I'd like to fix this, but there are no clear directions on how to do it. How do you apply sales tax to EVERY line on your invoice? Right now, when we create a customer invoice and enter, let's say 10 items, then enter a "Tax" line -- the only thing getting taxed in the 10th line. All the other 9 items are not being taxed. So we have literally been calculating the total of the invoice and manually entering in the tax on that line. It soooo... uhh... quickbooks-challenged. So, can anyone help... in a simplistic fashion? How do you apply sales tax to the entire invoice???? Please help 🙏
How do I add print later or send later option to the new invoicing platform that was automatically put in my subscription. Old invoice layout is no longer available. This is causing chaos in my office. Please advise. Thank you
When I go to my invoices, the default is to show invoices from a year ago at the top, arrow is down. I can click the arrow to show the most recent invoice, but this is annoying to have to do this every time. Am not seeing a way to make the default showing most recent invoice on top and I have no idea why QB though it would be a good idea to show invoices from a year ago on top vs. most recent?
I believe that I am finally getting a handle on how to do transactions in our European bank account. I have spent hours watching videos. Now I have two questions:1) Do I need to do a home currency adjustment if both invoice and payments are done in euros with the money being deposited into or withdrawn from the European bank account? If so, how is the best way to do this?3) How do I handle transferring money from our European bank account to our US bank account? I made a transfer of 55,000 euros and using the exchange rate for the day of the transfer I calculated that the amount in US$ should be approximately $58,500; however the actual deposit was only $56,800. Why the difference and how do I handle this? I saw only about $150 for bank fees.Thanks for your help.Marilyn
I have a user who receives the below error every day when she logs in. Once she presses 'OK' she can log in, so this is more a nuisance than an interruption. Any thoughts on what could be causing the error or how I can resolve it. This user is not an admin, they log in to track time only.
Windows Defender Firewall popped up that it needed permission to allow access for SBSEG-PD MambaScrum. I know Quickbooks has an app called Mamba, but I haven't downloaded or adding anything this morning that would make a new permission needed. All searches show no mention of MambaScrum as a valid component. Am I being paranoid by not clicking Allow Access every time the QB logo comes up?
#1 - The new 2024 Estimate template we type into is not good for custom Quotes. I'd like see my Custom Estimate/Invoice template as I'm typing up an estimate for a customer and not the generic one. Why can't we see the chosen template when creating an Estimate or Invoice or adjust the columns of the default one? #2 - The new template does not show the email body text changes in the preview box on the right as it is being typed. When I'm typing in the email body section, it doesn't show in the box to the right. Instead, the template email text shows and I have to pray the newly typed email body is the one that goes to the customer. This was a feature on the previous main 'review and send" so why isn't it on the new version? #3 - When you send an Estimate or Invoice email, there is not a copy of it anywhere in QB Online. If the CC to my email address doesn't work, I have no way of re-sending the exact same email. Why isn't a copy of the email (with body text) saved (at least te

We recently migrated to quickbooks online advanced from quickbooks desktop 2021 accountant edition. We have had issues with getting our check alignment working like it did with the desktop , where details in the stub section are being cutout and if we adjust to fit the stub section for the voucher the top is off and vice versa. The checks are brought from quickbooks so they arent the issue. Right now our end user has to manually redo the checks alignment in Adobe for every check which takes up time and can be prone to human error. When we do the fine tune alignment the sample it prints looks fine , we save the alignment but when we go to print the check and do a preview and print we see the details in the stub missing words. Also changed the printer settings to the quickbooks recommended settings and also tried a few things with support who have been no help in getting a resolution and redirect me to either give feedback which i have and post in the community.

Like did he have personal expenses in meals? I am trying to find a way to take a look at his bookkeeping and make changes but not until I show him.
Quick question. Client upgraded to Desktop Premier 2024. She is wanting me to use her second user to put it on my computer. My computer is not networked to hers. I do the weekly work and her small payroll (enhanced) on my computer and she restores it from my flashdrive to the company file on her computer.Can I put her company file on my Desktop Accountant 2024 on my computer and then she restores to her Premier 2024 on her computer each week?
Why can't I get the service date to show up on my invoices? I used to be able to indicate dates for each line on my invoices, now the date field for each line isn't there. ???
I have Quickbooks online, and the updated/new invoice template. I do not want the "pay now" button on emailed invoices to show. All instructions to remove that seem to be for the old template, and options have changed. How do I remove that link?
That was probably the one thing I liked about QBO. Is there an option to do this on Desktop or no? Not a big deal if not, just wondering.
I use QB Prem 2020 with latest updates.I have that special offers block at the bottom of the navigation bar and I don't wan't it there. I would like to use the navigation bar for my favorites and windows.The same special offers are also available on the top under the Special Offers pull-down. I don't mind having it there.It looks like this is something permanent or is there an option to remove it?

Hello, I'm currently running Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise 2022. I just wanted to confirm that my services will still be up and running after May 31st of this year. I am receiving conflicting advice where I am being told I must upgrade by this year. It's my understanding that QB runs in three-year cycles and that I won't be forced to upgrade until May 31, 2025. If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
How do I get sales tax to be calculated on the taxable total less discounts?Right now, it calculates on subtotal, then applies discounts.
I have a PO that has one item that hasn't been received. When I go to the Item Receipt and select the supplier the pop box does not list the PO that the item is on. The PO screen does not show the message of "Received in Full". How do I receive this item in?
There’s always some glitch or error that’s preventing me from running my business like I need to. I’ve been using QuickBooks for 12 months now and I’ve easily had five such glitches.
The new templates for invoicing and estimating no longer offer the adjustable display columns, but they keep changing. The date and product/service columns don't need to be larger than the description column. Has anyone been able to adjust them? The size will randomly change, but I can't manually change them, which is incredibly inconvenient when I need to type out large estimates.
