I have several assemblies that contain other assemblies. They can go a few levels deep on some of our items. I have the box checked for "automatically build required subassemblies". I created a pending build and it auto-created the many sub assemblies. I noted the numbers to keep track. Later I saw that several numbers had been skipped and some of the assemblies numbers had changed. Why would the Build ref no change?
Elite bill payment is not user friendly. After 1/2 hour of searches, I can't figure out how to send a batch of bills for approval. If you're to charge $100 bucks a month, this app must work like a clock. I can't send 1 single bill at a time to a client. Not efficient.
Hi, Is anyone having this issue, and do you have a resolution also? I can no longer create a new user for Quick Books Online for an Expense Submitter. I can only use Expense and time tracking, but we do not use time tracking. Then when I create my own user type, it does not work and it disappears. I have spent hours on the phone with different tech support. I have tried Chrome, Mozilla. I have tried my user to do this, another admin user login. It seems as if this started happening in Jan or Feb. I have an open Case ID, now for almost 6 weeks, and each time I call to check in I am told that it is a escalated case id, effecting other users, but there is no resolution and no communication. And my employees cannot be added to submit expenses. It is extremely frustrating. Anyone else having this?
I have been using Quickbooks 2021. I had a free update to 2022. What it failed to tell me was that I can no longer use my scanner to scan bill of ladings and attach to my invoice. I guess they want me to use my cell phone to scan and attach. This will take me longer to process an invoice and I don't always have my cell phone at the office. I am so disappointed that they took this feature away!! I had to reload 2021! Their 2022 update is useless to me! Plus I keep getting the window telling me to update to 2022 and it won't go away even though I checked the box to say, don't show anymore. I guess I am hoping they do an update and
We returned (sold) a 2023 vehicle to to its dealership, but has a loan liability. Not sure how to enter journal entries.Fixed asset = $30,801.24Loan Liability = $20,582.396Dealership offered = $13,000.00I paid extra = $6,807.62Thank you for your help
Previously, I enabled the feature to email bills and receipts using the "Upload and Review Bills" and "Receipt Management" features found underneath Vendors. I didn't use it much after testing it once.Now, I'd like to use it, but "Email Bills" or "Email Receipts" is no longer visible as an option. In both features, I only see options to:Browse to uploadUpload from Google DriveSnap on mobileHow do I make the Email option visible again?I believe my Company account/Intuit account settings are fine, since I have tried logging in as the Company primary admin paired with the Intuit account primary admin, and also as a user with full access paired with an Intuit account that is a secondary admin. In neither session do I see the Email options.
I do not use the "Class" feature in QB. How do I remove it, every time I enter a invoice, payroll or check QB will ask if I'm sure I want to enter without a "Class". I answer yes, enter. How can I stop QB from asking if I want to enter without a class? I would like to remove this option. Thank you
We recently sold a house we built. A subcontractor was paid at settlement and is on the HUD Statement. I already had an invoice created for this subcontractor. Is there a way to link the GJ entry to the existing invoice to clear out the invoice and have my job costing for this project correct?
Ever since the new invoice format was forced on us, my quickbooks keep sending me back to the dashboard screen after closing out any window. This is severely hampering my productivity. Before the change, for example, If I were to receive a payment against a customer's invoice and click save and close it will bring me back to the invoice, and if i close the invoice it will bring me back to that customer's screen. Now it sends me back to the dashboard after receiving the payment and I have to click back to the customer screen every time. Is anyone experiencing this too? How do I get it to behave like before?
when duplicating an invoice, the old format would let us know that the invoice we are working on is a copy. This was a good feature to have because it confirmed we did duplicate the invoice instead of unintentionally changing the original. Why was this removed with the new invoice format? Are there plans to restore this feature?
I wanted to reconcile for the month of April and everything matched to the bank statement except two customers each $25 however those transactions were from March and were already reconciled. So I didn't know what was going on. I decided to reconcile everything for march again. When I start reconciling everything that I have on quickbooks matches everything on my bank statement there is no extra transactions or missing transactions however it still shows -$50.00 even when everything matches. the cleared balance is $50 more than the statement ending balance. The only thing that probably went wrong was one of the clients had a double entry meaning there was two clients under different names that ended up being the same client so I deleted transactions on one and moved them to the other one and deactivated one account after I already reconciled for march
I need to subtotal multiple service dates in the body of the invoice like I've done for years but the new invoice format that I'm being forced to use won't let me. Why?
If you enter all the info for a bill and then realize it should have been a purchase order- can you flip it or do you have to delete and redo?
Good morning,We have started the 2022 annual audit. Our reporting is in USD. However, EUR invoices are also paid. To our horror, different daily rates are used by Quickbooks between different companies. Example: On Dec 21, 2022, Company I deposited EUR 205,000 to Company II.Company I Quickbooks records use a rate of 0.998318 and Company II records use a rate of 1.0646681.Looking at the correct daily exchange rate on the internet, I would say that 1.06 is the correct exchange rate. This is 1 example, but applies to several transactions in different companies. How can this be resolved in the short term?Thank you in advance,
We Purchased a property and used a lender who over financed our purchase. When Escrow closed the transaction we had a refund check paid out of Escrow to us for the remaining balance. How do we catogarize this when we set up our flip property as a project and we add product and services to track expenses and credits? Would this be considered a COG?
Is there an option to format the message in emailed invoices? The format is currently text centered and the margins on the edge of the page are almost zero. As of a few days ago, I can no longer add items to certain expenses. There's a note at the top of these expenses that I have never seen before.When I try to add Items it is grayed out. I am the company admin for this account and have permissions to do anything. What has changed? What setting do I need to get into?
Scanner app from QBs web works but it keeps changing overtime back to the Google Play store app which doesn't work, then I have to go back in and reset up the scanners. How can I stop it from changing? There has to be a setting somewhere that I am missing. TC21 and TC26 zebra scanner.

We are running into an issue where the sales order fulfillment worksheet is not populating any sales orders that are entered. Has anyone else ran into this issue? If so, how was it corrected?
we have QB Desktop Pro Plus 2023. we just got a bill for $649. to renew our QB!!!! we are a very small non-profit. we don't use it for payroll and don't have any linked bank accounts. i assumed we purchase QB Desktop that did not require yearly renewal fees. I have QBD on my mac for another Compassionate Friends non-profit chapter that i volunteer for. it was a once and done purchase that i dont have to renew. i've been told by many people in the Facebook support group for QB non-profits that we should not have fees since we dont use any of the online stuff please clarify!
When I edit a transaction in the register, the cursor will automatically move the the current date once the edit is saved. I would like to keep it on the transaction just edited so I don't have to continually scroll down through all of the transactions to get to the next line item I want to edit. This is new. I used to be able to go through the register one line at a time when editing not sent to the top after ever line that was saved. PLEASE HELP!!!
Good DayI have been having trouble with my quickbooks adding new inventory items. We have a consignment stock list as well as a normal stock list, but because our normal stock list only works on order base we do not keep stock. i did manage to add some of the items manually, had to 0 the stock on hand, and it shows active in the list, but as soon as i try to make a quotation for a customer it gives me the error "You need to activate this item before updating the quantity."I have my track inventory on as we do have stock items, but for these specific items we do not keep stock on hand?how can i fix this problem.
