For the last 14 years I have been using quickbooks online and creating customer appointments using the create an appointment on the app and desktop. I have never used and don't want to use the time app. I use google calendar and have all my employees set up so we can all see each others appointments. We also have an online software "timetap" that integrates with our google calendars. I would like to have this feature back on the quickbooks desktop and app. The issue with the time app is that it does not sync/read the appointments that are scheduled from timetap software so we would have an issue with double bookings. Can someone fix this issue...... it stopped working around 3/25/24
i delated my quick books info accidentally in turbo tax how do i get it back
Multiple issues have arisen following the recent update, and despite leaving several feedback messages,I haven't seen any improvements. So please, I'd rather not be advised to provide more feedback. In addition to these unwelcome changes, I've lost the ability to customize my invoice templates.Although I can still create or edit templates, it doesn't affect the appearance of the printed invoices. Is there an alternative method for customizing templates after this update? The upper section of the new invoice form consumes excessive space, which makes it impossible to keep invoices to just one page. Can you please instruct me on how to adjust this?
Good evening, I can't be the only one who dislikes the upcoming "new" invoice layout, and I have been reverting to the old nearly every day! That said, the main feature of the "new" that I really need to be able to change, is making the invoice due date a day earlier than the invoice date. I realize this is a weird need, but I am with a payroll company, and we impound client's service fee funds -1 day before their check date, and that becomes the due date. We had used Xero until 2024 and this was never an issue, and even the "old" invoice layout in QB allowed it...why now will it not? Signed, Dreading May 6th...
I was double charged for my yearly subscription and now I can’t get ahold of anyone to get my almost $200 quick books has stolen from me. I’m almost done with this company, this is ridiculous. I’ve sat on the phone for the last 4 hours and every time someone answers they hang up and I have to call back. I tried using the chat support and it says the office is closed. It’s Monday, your hours are from 6 to 6 Monday through Friday how is no on there to resolve this issue. You took two hundred dollars from me and now you’re making it difficult to get ahold of anyone. I’m beyond pissed at this point. I’m about to cancel my subscription and switch to jobber or another software. This is ridiculous.
I don’t see them in my Intuit profile anymore so I guess they already expired.
Before migrating to QBO, we used letter and invoice templates customized to each QuickBooks class. In the migration, all of our templates disappeared and I cannot figure out where to create new ones. To be clear, I am trying to create a invoice template A to be used for income that will be recorded as Class A - invoice template B to be used for income that will be recorded as Class B and so on. Is QBO not capable of multiple invoice templates?
The charge is for Turbotax Premium: $119 and State is $59
Edition: QuickBooks Enterprise Gold edition (Desktop) Company file is around 900MB and QuickBooks Desktop is unbelievably slow in a multi-user environment. PCs, servers, and network have all been upgraded in an attempt to make this experience better but nothing has solved it, so we need to reduce the size of our company file. How can we remove employees from our company file (payroll, specifically)? We can easily make a backup and store copies of it multiple locations in case we ever need to go back, but we have employees that have been gone for 12 years that we still have all these payroll records for and it's making entering payroll data VERY time consuming. Thousands of employees that haven't been with the company for 7 years. Otherwise, we do have some employees from long ago with only a single entry listed (like "YTD Adjustment, 2012"), so how can we roll up thousands of employees like this? Maybe that would solve some of our issues.
I have turbo tax self employed and Turbo Tax premium business.

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing messages that tell you that you haven't logged into Intuit for x many days? Today, I got one that it has been 8 days since my last log in. I updated my credit card last week so I HAVE logged in recently. But, otherwise, I don't really have a need to log in that I can see. What is the reason for this? I am on Desktop/Enhanced Payroll. Every time I log in, nothing has changed with payroll updates or anything else for that matter. Between this and the Ads to sell something, I find that QB is so slow to start every time I initiate tasks for the day. I pay $1500 a year for all the subscriptions and fees. Any explanation why QuickBooks/Intuit intrudes like this?
What will it cost us if we keep using our QuickBooks checking account but we switched over to QuickBooks Desktop? Also, can we still get deposits on it with our QuickBooks Desktop?
We have a manufacturing company which uses Quickbooks Premier Plus Manufacturing and Wholesale 2023 in our office. We want to be able to take more time away from the company and need to use the Quickbooks remotely from where ever we are at. We need to go multiuser with the host being the traveling laptop. What ever we are doing in the host must be able to transfer to the office computer and vice versa. How can I accomplish this. Would I have to get a multi user license? If so who do I contact?
Hello. I wanted to ask, lets say I left the office Friday and come back Monday morning and I want to see what was the last thing or entry I did on Friday. How can I go back and look at what was the last thing or things I did before I closed up for the evening? Does that make sense? How can i see what was the last thing or entry I did? Also, If I make a mistake and type in the wrong number is there a way to just go back to the last entry or do i have to go all the way into reports and look for the date i just did? Thanks.
When I go to my "sales overview" a panel at the top is for "SETUP" and shows 75% done. (screenshot attached) The only "step" not done is to sign up for intuit's instant deposit service. This service charges an additional fee and I don't need it or want it. My customers send me checks in the mail and I deposit them in the normal way. I'd like to dismiss these steps so the panel goes away and I can see my actual information at the top of the screen rather than what is basically an ad. Is there any way to get rid of this?
The beginning of the year I signed a building lease and set up a lease liability account( current liability) and a lease expense account. My questions is, when making a journal entry for lease payments what would be the forth account to balance the transaction. The bank decreases, lease liability decreases, lease expense increases, what would be the other account to balance the entry?
I have several credit memos that I need to refund - how is this handled most efficiently? I want to be able to apply the credits to refunds and clear them from the books. There's got to be a way other than issuing an invoice to cancel the credit.
had self employed account but now shows as non profit
When updating bank transactions, Quickbooks adds new supplier from copying the vendor name from the bank transaction. This is totally unnesssary. Can I turn off this function?
