I am still using QBD 2020 PremIs there an option to copy an invoice template into a credit note template?I would not want to create the credit note template from scratch if I don't have to.Does anybody know of a way how to do this?Thanks
We have a quickbooks enterprise edition, multiple users is activated, I need to adjust the role of one user to have a complete access to the chart of accounts and recording except two accounts (Accrued Expenses "As a current liability account" and Expense account) is this can be done?
In Quickbooks Online - QTY ON PO shows a balance when I have NO OPEN POs. This is happening in the QBO App on Windows and Mac, Safari browser, Edge browser, Mac and Win computers and phones. Anyone else experiencing this? How do I fix it? I've tried:- Deleting POs.- Changing Quantities to Zero. It is also happening in Reports - although not consistent. For example, one product shows in Product/Services windows but not in Reports. Another product is showing open in both locations.

I 'used a credit to give a refund' to a customer in Quickbooks Enterprise and now both are showing open on my A/R aging detail. One is a debit and the other is a credit, how do I get rid of those?
I am running QB Desktop Pro 2024 and have created a copy of the default Payment Receipt form and customized it to meet the needs of our business. I am unable to set this form as the default payment receipt form. When I wish to print a payment receipt, the default Intuit payment receipt template is printed, not my custom form design. Help, please!! I've tried to make the intuit form inactive (it claims that the form is in use in preferences (where??) and in previous payments received. How do I make our custom payment receipt template the default for all future payments? How do I change the template for previously received payments to the new custom template?Every time I try to change the template and save the payment, when I re-open it the Inuit default template is still selected in the formatting tab for that payment. I'm at a loss...
Hello, is anyone else having issues with the mileage section of Quickbooks Online? Whenever I try to input my mileage from my computer the webpage runs so slowly that it takes me forever just to enter one trip. Unfortunately, customer service has been nearly impossible to get in touch with. I've had this problem since July. I've been using the phone app, but that is slow as well and you can't do round trips from the app, so inputting takes twice as long. Does anyone have any tips?
When I go to inactive certain Employees, Customers, Vendors inactive I keep getting this error message "This supplier cannot be deleted because it is used in unbilled charges." What do i do so I can make it inactive and to fix it. I transferred date from QuickBooks Desktop to Online and it made most of the inactive items from Desktop active in Online version and when I go to make them inactive I get that error message, even employees and vendors that have been inactive for years were made active in Online and get the same message. My company has recently moved to quickbooks online. I have a very small team so all of my team members were added to my company, two of which are time entry only. My issue is that those two time entry only users cannot enter timesheets due to the required name field not populating. I have tried to delete and reinvite them ensuring they are linked to the correct employee in QBO but still having the same issue. See attached image for reference.

Hi,Our company uses Quickbooks Online Advanced. I have a very detailed and extensive budget that is broken down by several classes. How do I import this? I can import a budget, but when I do this, it does not give me the option at the point of importation/creation to subdivide by class. Alternatively, I can create a budget and set it to subdivide by class, but then I can not import into this budget. So on the one hand I can import, and seemingly on a different hand I can get my classes. How can I accomplish an upload with classes?Thanks.
This is nothing critical - just an annoyance. When entering expenses, I sometimes have 5 or 6 splits and sometimes only one. Is there an easy way to clear the lines without having to go one by one and delete each item that it has saved from the last entry for that vendor? It's usually very handy to have it remember, but sometimes it's not.
I have QuickBooks Premier NonProfit 2021 which will stop being supported in 2 months on May 31st. We use Payroll so we must upgrade to Enterprise or Online. We also have Shopify POS. Anyone out there using Shopify and QB online have any guidance, pros/cons, for me? Thank you for your help!
I am looking for a way to batch delete circa 2,500 sales entries in QB Online version.I need to be able to isolate the respective entries by filtering on a specific "class".I can see batch delete is available in the Sales Report but you cannot filter the sales by class, I can also see that you can filter by class using Journals but you don't seem to be able batch delete in this section.... Any suggestions ??
My Spectrum Security Suite has found this in my QB it was on all my computers and reported that it "can't handle this item" so it skipped it. Microsoft Security Scanner, Kaspersky, and Malwarebytes don't flag it. They said it was "dormant" and it was best to leave it alone. It still made me nervous so I removed QB from the computers that I wasn't using QB on and the Spectrum Security Suite Scans immediately started coming back clean. Has anyone seen this before?
I'm finding that Fidelity Investments is not showing up in the 'Find your bank' step for the 'Bank Feed Setup'. It appears from other QBO posts that it is still supported with the online version. Is there a known workaround for the desktop version?
Why is my 2023 1099 filing showing but not my actual 1099 copies?
My vendor XYZ Concrete had invoices of $15,000. We accidently paid them $20,000 so there is a negative balance. They recently refunded us the $5,000. How do you input the deposit and credit their account? The system keeps asking me to make them a customer because it's an AR. Thank you!
