Can somebody help me with how to upload a csv to categorize revenue? I have a situation where hundreds of bank transactions are in quickbooks, and I have a spreadsheet that has the P&L category I would like to map those transactions to. eg. Transaction 1 is revenue line item A, transaction 2 is revenue line item B. Total revenue is A + B, but I want to see A and B in the P&L statement. A could be "Product sales" and B could be "Service revenue". - How does the csv need to be formatted?- Where do I upload it to? - What do I need to do in Quickbooks after uploading the csv?
I recently purchased a new laptop and moved QB Desktop there and because it was time to upgrade to 2023 from 2022, I did that as well. In those 3 weeks EVERY time I attempt to process payroll, QB crashes. I have a work around temporarily, but I am growing increasingly frustrated. I have worked with QB support, all the way up to the Data team and no issues could be found so they directed me to Dell Software support. After paying them and then working with their rep, no issues was found with the new laptop on either the hardware or software side. I then decided to move QB back to my old laptop but of course that meant updating the program there to 2023 from 2022, but I hoped that it would work. It did not as the same error is occurring. I have tried the tool hub and every other step imaginable. I did notice that this was a huge issue with 2022, but fortunately one that I did not encounter; however, after reading the thread on it, it has made me wonder if this is a holdover issue from the
How to get my contract vendor a 1099
I’ve made an account and signed in, but can’t find any 1099s.
We have been using Quickbooks online for years, but only to track accounts receivable and prepare payroll. We use Quickbooks desktop for all other activity on a cash basis only. Thus, no accounts receivable, accounts payable, or payroll (except the checks entered net, with a journal entry to gross up the taxes and liabilities) in the Quickbooks desktop version. We would like to merge the two, and use Quickbooks online for everything going forward. I know the migration tool is not an option since we are past the 60 day mark. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking for a software service that will be a basic profit/loss, income/expenses program for me. Here is my current situation. I want to explore the basic plan, but need to know if I can do that given my situation:I have two home based businesses/LLCs, and obviously need to separate the expenses to each. One of my LLCs has a DBA attached, so three total organizations.I have two other 1099 jobs that I have expenses for, so for tax writeoff purposes, need to track those expenses as well. Looking to be able to provide my accountant with a more organized package of tax info this year. Will the basic plan work?
I am having problems with estimate emails received and it is causing customers to not want to view the estimate because of it saying review and pay. The estimate email preview when in quickbooks before hitting send says Print or save. When you open the actual email received it instead says review and pay. How can this error be fixed? Thanks!
When I get to the 1099 is ready to be efiled message, The next screens says no 1099 found. I can only assume it is because my contractor is under the $600 threshold. I need the document for my child's proof of income for his Roth IRA.

Emailing this customer and every other customer works. Sending new invoices works. Changing the email to a different one does not fix it.
