Can anyone please help with a C=47 error on QB Desktop Pro Plus 2023? Every time i'm working in QB I get this error code, and QB shuts down. I've ran all the diagnostics in the tool hub but everything comes back as normal. Thanks!
I use QBO Essentials: I am trying to edit the mapping fields for quickbooks to match the custom fields I created for invoicing so I can upload from a .csv file. 1. I created a custom invoice template in QuickBooks Online which includes 2 custom fields. 2. I followed the steps to upload my data in a .csv file. 3. When I get to the mapping step in the process, the custom fields I created are not available. So my question is...can I edit the invoice mapping fields to match the custom fields I created in QBO? Is that feature available in a higher version?
I want to open a new company file as ours is very old and very large. I have tried every way to condense or reduce the size of the file. My real question is when I start the file , can I run it for several months waiting on my accountant to give me the beginning balances she would like me to use.? Then enter them after we already have activity in them.Any help would be appreciatedThanks Tim Hill

Can't seem to make any edits in company address info without getting the -90 error code. Tried the private browsing in Safari, Chrome, Firefox. Tried clearing the cache and that did not work either.
I need to pull a report for a time period that shows all vendor expenses with posting detail. My client does not use Purchase Orders, so all expenses are entered either as Bills or Expenses. I can't find a report that will show the line item detail of each bill. If there is more than one distribution account in the bill it simply shows as 'Split.' Ultimately, I need a report for every line item on an expense/bill with the following columns: Date, Vendor, Transaction Type, Number, Memo/Description, Account, Amount Thank you

I have looked everywhere and can not find specific pin pointed information, it is impossible... I am trying to learn if inventory that I am selling goes into the Asset Account "Inventory Asset" or "Merchandise Sales". I am trying to find information on which Income Account to use also. I create a new inventory item. I put in the item name, description, cost, sales price, etc. Then there is three categories that I can not find explanations on. COGS Account, Income Account and Asset Account. Please help...

My company builds servers with inventory, then sells for customer use in our data centers. Once a server is built and in use it is then considered a fixed asset and depreciated. Currently the process is very manual and time consuming and we are looking for a good way to move inventory item to fixed asset after put in use and still have trackability of each item/asset. Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to handle this process in QuickBooks Enterprise? What is the best way to move inventory to fixed asset after put in use? Any advice is much appreciated.
I've searched the boards themselves and Googled as well and I'm finding nothing on what, it seems, ought to be a basic feature. How do I print an invoice showing that it's paid and that lists a customer's payments on it? Not a statement—a final invoice. I switched from Wave Accounting to QBO for the vastly more robust feature set, but Wave does that by default, and I cannot find a way to do that in QBO. I've tried every form configuration and setting I can find. Seems like account summary ought to show that, but it isn't, and doesn't always print anyway. I feel like I'm missing something simple, and will be most happy to be embarrassed that I am. Thanks, Clint
Hi everyone. I just recently upgraded from Quickbooks for MAC 2016 to 2020. Everything has been good, but I do have one question. I have the Quickbooks company file and attachment library saved in my MAC computer in a directory that is part of my iCloud Drive. So for the last few years while out in the field I could search for a customer's name on the iCloud Drive on my iPhone and find an invoice saved as an attachment inside of Quickbooks. This was an awesome thing. Now after upgrading to 2020 I am unable to do that. The attachment library seems like a file instead of a directory. Am I just out of luck with this? Or is there a way to make the attachments saved in it individually "openable" without going thru the Quickbooks program to open them?

I have an inventory item, XYZ, that when I sell I often receive back a trade in shortly after. Once I have received back the trade I send it to a vendor who determines if the item can be refurbished. If the item can be refurbished I then may or may not refund (case by case basis) the agreed upon value for the trade in. Once I receive the item back from my vendor I then place it into inventory as Refurb XYZ. If the item can not be refurbished it is binned. So my question is should I create a non inventory item called XYZ Trade In and set the expense account to sales discount. Use that new item to issue credit memo to customer and when I receive back the Refurb XYZ I just inventory it with a cost reflecting the refurbishment? But I need to now apply the cost of the credit that was issued to the customer to that particular Refurb XYZ so that the cost is sitting in the correct place. Meaning, I would need to somehow debit sales discount and increase the cost of that particular Re

Is there a formal process for escalating a trouble ticket? I've tried for over a week to get a web connector issue resolved, including asking for escalation three times, with no progress. Example the correct net pay of $749.70 is appearing correct on the printed paycheck however when it appears in the bank register it is showing as $968.85 which is incorrect.
