I entered a vendor credit and saved it. I then pulled up the "Pay Bills" window and the credit does not appear. When I go back and pull up the credit and click on REPORTS, then Transaction History, it shows no history for the credit. Why isn't the credit appearing in the "Pay Bills" list so that I can use it against an open invoice??
I used my ProAdvisors version of QBO and converted/migrated my CPA practice QB desktop. After the migration, all my Desktop Customers migrated to Clients on my QBO account. Technically says that is normal during the transition. The only way to correct is make the Clients inactive. If the Client had a recuring transaction in the desktop file or a balance., you cannot my inactive.Has anybody come across this. It does not make common sense.
I have a cash deposit that my staff listed in QB and a corresponding bank deposit slip but I can find no bank receipt and no match on any bank statement. I have to treat this as cash lost, I assume. What do I do with my entry in QB that I cannot match?

My list of invoices under each customer has recently changed and I cannot see the invoices like I used to. How do I change it back to the original viewing?
my bank has stopped syncing to quickbooks online. It tells me to sync but keeps spinning.
Was there some update?? This is incredibly frustrating--can't duplicate any sales receipts or invoices, there's no scroll bar on the bottom of the page anymore which makes it impossible to navigate. Others have posted that they can't see their invoices anymore. What is going on?? I understand that it's a weekend but this needs to be addressed. Many of us work on the weekend.
HELP! My computer recently crashed during a windows update and had to be completely restored. Everything but the Quickbooks data was restored by my computer tech who brought the computer back to life. I have read all the articles onine on how to try and recover the lost data, but am not having any luck. Unfortunately I did not have a back on a portable hard drive. Hoping to recover my 7 years of data for our household finance
We've been having issues with CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess. The first issue is that this process used up CPU utilization until it's pegged at 100%. It loads about 30 or so processes within a day before we have to reboot the server. Our environment is QuickBooks Desktop Premier for 5 users installed on a Windows Server 2019.These issues start happen after we upgraded to QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2022. Once the CPU utilization at 100%, we get CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess - Application Error - the exception code 0x0000008 or CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess - System Error. Do we need CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess? How do we get rid of CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess if we do not need it?
I have a non-profit configured QBO account that shows "Customers" as "Donors". We'd like to use the invoicing feature to bill other organizations that we provide programs for. How can we create a "Customer" or "Vendor" object that we can specify as "organizations we bill" as opposed to lumping them in with the Donors?
Does anyone know if QB Desktop for Mac 2020 is compatible with the most recent updates of macOS Monterey? I know some users are experiencing difficulty using QB Desktop for Mac 2020 when they update their macOS to Ventura. But what about when running the most recent updates for Monterey (for example version 12.6.8). If I do this, will I still be able to use the main features in QB Desktop for Mac 2020?
Hi! I'm at my wits end trying to get this error fixed. When I first migrated my QuickBooks info from desktop to online I wasn't able to use the payroll function because of a migration error. After going back and forth with customer service and the "backend" team I was finally able to start running the payroll in Online in April. However, there were still tax errors that remained unfixed (like a duplicate city tax line that is still unfixed after 7 months!) During the time I was unable to use online payroll I ran the payroll in desktop and added it manually to Online. When the backend team said they had finally fixed the payroll errors, they reuploaded 3 months worth of payroll (January through March) that I had already entered and reconciled in Online. Now my account has a discrepancy in my payroll reports of over $22,000! I was also hit with additional tax bills because it looked like I hadn't paid enough payroll taxes. When I asked how to get this error fixed they told me I had
Hello, The "Attach" feature in Quickbooks is not responsive when trying to attach any type of document . It used to work before, but currently when you click on "attach", nothing happens, no loading bar or no any indication that a file has been attached. We tried to verify data and rebuild company file data with no luck. Any troubleshooting we can try? Thanks,
I recently switched from QB Enterprise 2012 to QB Premier 2019. Data files were converted and the new installation is working fine. I set up the backup routine to the same way it was set up in the old Enterprise product. The backup is set to run nightly, saving the backup to the E drive which is a separate drive attached to my computer via a USB connection. This drive has plenty of free space and the process worked flawlessly under Enterprise. When I run the backup manually for the Premier product, the backup works fine. However when it runs automatically overnight, I only get a very small TMP file. I have stored my Windows password as required. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I enrolled in the ID Notify option. In another post on this forum, an expert responds that to login to the ID Notify one must simply look for one of the emails. However, these emails could easily be spoofed and used for phishing . . . something the ID Notify product is supposed to help with. The emails do not show up from an email address as simple as (at)intuit.com or (at)idnotify.com . . . it comes from an (at)mail.idnotify.com address...something that looks exactly like what a phishing email would come from. And the link in the email is not something like ......idnotify.com .... nope, its https://sso.identitymanagementcenter.com/sp/startSSO.ping?PartnerIdpId=sso:imc...... another suspicious looking url. So, rather than referring me to an email that i have no way of knowing if it is legit or not, could somebody please post an actual link that can be used by those of us that use the ID notify service signed up through TurboTax??? When I try to sign in to idnotify.com it does not work,
I enter my employees time with QUICKBOOKS timesheet. We pay per hour not per job. QUICKBOOKS groups the hours by job and then rounds differently then what I figure as 40 hours. Therefore I am off by usually a penny but this time it is 3 cents. How can I make it just figure the rate at 40 hours?
QB support continues to degrade. I decided to get on the 'ol twitter and tweet the CEO's account. I eventually got a DM from someone at QB (not the CEO of course, didn't expect that). As per usual, what I was actually asking about and commenting on was confusing to them, as evidenced by responses that were as if they didn't read anything I said (sound familiar QB Community participants?). That 3 or 4 different people were corresponding along the way didn't help. I continued to work my way through their confusion and got to the very important sounding "Office of the President." ooh, neat. Now we're getting somewhere!I finally had a phone call scheduled with an actual human being. They called the wrong number and more hilarity ensued but we'll leave that for now. When I did get on the phone with the person, it was like they were taking the call in the worst call center ever designed with 10 other voices in the background. I knew this was probably my last chance to talk to an actual
We are a Church under a Diocese. We have been doing some refurbishing of our Priest Quarters. In order to pay the contractor, we have to submit a check request to the Diocese. We have had some donations come in specifically to cover the cost. When we received these donations I created a Deferred Account (Other Current Liabilities) where I can track the cost of the project and donations that have come in, in one place. My thought process on this was that when a progress payment was due to the contractor and paid by the diocese, it would come through on my bank reconciliation as a (Diocese Gen Debit). To clear that I would create a journal entry debiting my deferred and crediting my checking account. This would decrease both accounts. By doing this I can never record the bill to the vendor though. Also, this only affects my balance sheet not my P & L, so how would I be able to recognize this on my P & L Statement and track
My Invoice function for QuickBooks self-employed will not work on both desktop and mobile. Is anyone else having this same problem?? If so is there a fix???"
I'm using quickbooks online. When I click on Pay Bills - it says I don't any outstanding bills, yet when I run an A/P report all my bills show up. Note the bills that aren't showing up are over 365 days old. There used to be a drop down that said show all dates or show all bills. -it's not longer there. HELP!
When printing a cheque for a specific company, the words and numbers print upside down, we only have this issue over one company file, and it does not happen for any other company.
Our Expenses Tab under the Expenses module is coming up completely blank (no information at all). We do see information under the Bills tab and the Vendor tab. Is anyone else having this issue? What is the fix for this? Thank you
