I have went through the steps to connect my bank account. It all goes smoothly until the very last step where you click ‘Save’ at the end. The button doesn’t seem to work and I am stuck on that screen. I then get an email to say my bank account has been connected and it shows I have a connected bank account on my QuickBooks dashboard. But, if I tap on it in QuickBooks it gets me to connect the account again. This process repeats over and over. I can’t record any of my invoices as paid, so would love to get this sorted.

Can we please have the adjustment for Employment Allowance posted to the ledger on the same date as the pay run, not on the 5th of the following month. As was the case with Standard Payroll. Just creates extra work at every month- and year-end that is totally unnecessary.

I know this is useless. I call the 800 number and I get a bot. Repeatedly. Do humans not work at Intuit? I want to switch from desktop for mac to online and all I get is bots. I have a trial account at Xero but decided one last stab at reaching a human. Are there numbers that a human will answer to answer question on pricing and ease of transferring, etc.?
Am I doing something wrong here? I am a full time PAYE employee, so my £12570 is already taken up. My income is around 38k and change. My self-employed income is 14k with around 2k of allowable expenses, making it £11457, so a total of less than 50k, which is when I should start paying the 40%. But QB self-employed is telling me to pay £4583 on my £11457 which is 40%. In my profile, I have omitted the £12570 personal allowance. When I enter it, and answer the question "Have you received or sent transfer allowance amount?" whatever I answer returns an income tax amount of either £4583 or zero. I'm confused. What have I done wrong?
I signed for up SE a short while ago but didn't realised that it didn't include the ebay intergration app. I've never had to do a self assesment before as this is my first year but I'm quite unsure what needs to be recorded in QB. I can see no easy way for QBSE to import all the Ebay data, so all I've done at the moment is record the payments from Ebay, which of course is after all fees, postage etc. So from a self assessment point of view, what are HNRC interested in, do they need to see the full details of each ebay transaction or are they only interested in what Ebay actuall pay me after fees etc?
