Within QB Time, and in each employees profile, you can add them to groups. I have some employees who belong to several different groups. The drop down for the group selection seems to only allow one. Is there a setting where I can allow employees to be added to more than one group?

Hello, I'm new to using quickbooks time. I work for a construction firm and our PMs spend a LOT of time scheduling their resources in quickbooks time. It's labor intensive and requires a lot of manual keying. Is there a way to upload a dataset into the scheduling module? I can extract the necessary data from a few resources and can probably parse it out however it needs to be, if only there was a way to then upload that file into quickbooks timesheets and have the data appear as one or more schedules. Please advise. thanks!
We have an employee who is on the pro version of quickbooks. Although she has clocked in, and the system does retain her time information, it is not flowing through to the owner's side for payment. How can we fix this?
Im not sure if im explaining the problem correctly but im invited a new employee to be able to clock in with quickbooks time. in his profile in time everything is there that should allow him access to be able to clock in on his mobile device. But for some reason his app won't let him clock in on his own we have to clock him in ourselves. Since we have to do that we lose the ability of time tracking with him. My question is what is my first step for fixing the issue is it on my end or my employees.

Do I need to give a group manager a specific permission to be able to approve/decline this group time off request as well as manage there timesheets?
I would like to disable specific employee's ability to retroactively make adjustments to their timesheets AFTER they have initially clocked in or clocked out. As things are currently set-up they can and have changed their clock-in time and / or their clock-out time from the original times. Where and how can I do that?
So I am entering some past time logs from another software so I can look at the full scope of a project, and when I enter time under 1:00, it's like QB Time isn't recognizing and it doesn't count towards the full time of the day. Can this be fixed?
Every time I Sync QB time with QB desktop I get the error message:"QBWC: Payroll Item assignment failed for... That payroll item doesn't exist! ..."I get this message 9 times for different payroll items. We updated some payroll items in QB Desktop and removed a few old ones. Currently team members are NOT assigned any of these items in either program and I don't see these items in QB Time.I do I update Qb Time so I no longer get these error messages when I Sync with QB desktop?Is it possible that these Payroll items may be assign on old timecards from a few years ago?
Dear Community,This is my first post ever I think in 20 plus years. I just signed my company up for QB time. I have all employee's entered and their emails are all set and phone numbers to include myself. I tried to send an invite to myself multiple times and I haven't received an email or a text. I've checked spam, etc and did all the trouble shooting it says to check in support and it still won't send them. I'm working from my home office away from the office but I wouldn't think being at a different IP address would make a difference. Anyone have any ideas to check. Actually I couldn't even post this topic as I kept getting an authentication ticket mismatched error until I logged in with the incognito mode. Your help on this Sunday would be appreciated. thank you. Jeff
There is a new employee trying to access Workforce Time. He is set up on the admin side and an invite was issued. When he tries to access Workforce he receives a message from QB that says "you don't have access to this company"How to fix this???

can you set the clock to clock in at a certain start time. So if they clock in at 5:56am, can the time auto not start until 6am?

Hello QBO - Looks like the Weekly Timesheet Entry is no longer available to select. Only Single Timesheet Entry. Is this feature in the works to be fixed? We use this feature very often.Thank you,Edna
How do you deal with a LOC in QuickBooks DeskTop? When I go into the bank feed center, the LOC shows up and I can open it to the "Match Transactions" module. However, I can't do anything with it there. Unlike chequing accounts or CC's - which I can match multiple transactions easily - if I try to match multiples in the LOC, it gives me an error and tells me that I have to add each LOC transaction individually. That's very inconvenient but it can be done. But, then what? Unlike the matching of transactions in a chequing account or CC, where all I have to do is identify the payee and account (regardless of whether it is a debit or credit), adding a single transaction to QuickBooks from the LOC puts a single line in (I assume) the general ledger with no offsetting entry. I assume that, at this point, I add another entry to the GL to offset the transaction I am trying to add to QuickBooks. Correct? So, what should I be entering? H

I have multiple time keeper employees who cannot enter time on their weekly timesheet because it will not load. They have shut down/restarted, logged out/in. They have cleared cache files and tried multiple browswers. Any suggestions?
Employees enter their time in a Kiosk and record the project that they are working on. When payroll is run, hours are entered manually. We should have synced the data from QBO time to QBO.How can we now sync the time entries to the different projects that employees have worked on during the year?
Hello!We are configuring Quickbooks Time and I have a question about custom fields.We need to collect time from our team members at the task and subtask level. For example...>>>they will select the project/customer "Smith Remodel">>>then they will select from the task list I have created in the estimate function "Phase 1" >>>then they will select a subtask from a list of items related to "Phase 1" - for example "Demo Kitchen" I need my team members to not have to wade through ALL the subtasks available across all our projects.The Tasks are project specific but I don't see how to set up a custom field where I can control the list values based on the project, or ideally, the tasks selected. Thoughts? Is this possible?
Hi! At my company, I'd like to have a "validation check" on time cards when submitted to be at least forty hours. I don't need employees to work eight hours per day, but I want to have employees ensure that their timecard is at least forty hours through either their assigned project, or offsetting it with their vacation. This way they're forced to track their vacation usage. Is there anyway to do this?
