I want to print my cusromers according to their types. Can i do that?
Hey QB! 👋 We’re having major headaches with wage tracking in QuickBooks Online. 💀 We initially used QB Payroll Core and tracked our time activities with property, class, and customer information. However, we noticed these details weren't being recorded in our profit and loss statements 📈 – which defeated the purpose of entering the fields. 😕😕 For example, when viewing the following profit and loss statements, wages are only displayed under the “Not Specified” column:Profit and Loss by PropertyProfit and Loss by ClassProfit and Loss by Customer Upon reaching out to your team, we were advised to upgrade to QB Time Elite ⏱️️, based on the promise that it would record wage data on the income statement by property, class, and customer data correctly 💯. Whenever I click the "Write checks" button on the dashboard its does not auto populate with the correct number in sequence based on the last check number I used. I have noticed that when I print a check the correct "next check number" does display correctly on that screen. However, when I go to write my next check, the correct number does not show. I sometimes advance in numbers as I keep some blank checks with me should I need to hand write one. In my instance, it is currently stuck on #1340, a number I never used, likely because I made an error when writing it, and as such discarded it and moved to the next one. I did not have this problem on QB desktop, whenever I would write a check it would populate with the next number in sequence based on the last check that I entered. If I advanced this number manually for the aforementioned reason, it would reflect this when I would write my next check.Is there to setting to fix

Hello, My inventory value isn't showing up correctly in reports. I'm running the inventory valuation summary and it's only showing for certain items. On top of that, it's only showing the value based on our COGS prices for each assembled final product, and I need it to reflect the wholesale value of what we have in stock to get a good snapshot for what value we've carried over in the beginning of the year. We sell B2B, and Ecommerce, but if I can at least get the wholesale projected value, I can extrapolate the ecommerce value based off of our speculated sales reports from that based on trends and 2023 sales figures. Can anyone help me with this? This report is totally f***ed up and I need it really bad. Thank you in advance for any help with this that you can offer. It is very much appreciated. 🙂
Hi, I am needing to run a report that is showing Customer Sales by Class that also includes the Customer address on the same report. I've tried to customize multiple reports in Quickbooks online and can't seem to find one with both the customer address, sales and by Class.
I exported my company file from QBO to Enterprise 24 recently and ever since while trying to reconcile accounts, it is including ALL transactions ever reconciled and zero'd out in the reconciliation process (which goes all the way back to 2009!) but now they all show up as zero'd out, no amount on the transactions, but as unreconciled. Why is it doing this and how can I make it stop including them on the reconciliations without having to go back and mark thousands of transactions as cleared? I don't have time for that!Thanks.
Help! Many of my expenses are showing in duplicate in the expense report. Some have been entered twice inadvertently as I did not realize you shouldn't add them from the bank feed as well as enter the receipts captured via mobile device. However, many of the expenses are "matched" and they are still showing twice in the expense report resulting in an incorrect P&L report. Why are "matched" items showing twice? Any way to correct the duplicates, other than deleting each one individually?
I recently migrated from QBSE to QB online and only 2024 data came over into QB online. I want to just start 2025 fresh, however it looks like my 2024 expenses are all sitting in my Cash chart of accounts. How should I reconcile this, so it does not impact my 2025 balance sheet and profit and loss report? Any insight is appreciated. Thank you
So I just added another bank account to do the profit and loss for it; but when I go run report I have no way to select the other account I linked only the main one connected? how can I do it
I purchase multiple supplies to build the items I sell. Can I track those supplies as inventory even though by themselves they are not a product.
There are a couple of checks to venders that were never cashed. How do I journal entry them out at year end?
It appears you can not add a 2nd page to a Purchase Order Template, or an invoice for that matter. AND there is no way to automatically add an attachment. This seems a bit ridiculous for what is supposed to be an "Enterprise Solution" Has anyone found a way around this?
My revenue appears to be double the actual because the Chart of Accounts is linked to my bank account. The chart of accounts then has each check deposit (often containing multiple checks), and then when I mark an invoice as paid, QuickBooks adds a new revenue item to A/R. So my chart of accounts might look like this: Date REF NO PAYEE MEMO DEPOSIT-----------------------------------------------------04/01/2025 Payment $3,00004/01/2025 Payment Income $7,00004/01/2025 Deposit Income Deposit $10,000 I tried to delete all the "Payment" items from the Chart of Accounts that aligned to the check deposits, but it just marked all the invoices as unpaid. I have a custom report that displays all time for active projects, but when I try to update in the QBO Advanced spreadsheet sync feature, it states it is completed almost instantly but the new data doesn't populate.

Good dayI have a multi-currency setup in QuickBooks Desktop 2018. The default currency is our local currency, and we also use USD and EUR. Additionally, we utilize automated transaction entry via a memorized list to create standard invoices each month. Now I want to do the same for invoices in a currency other than the home currency. However, when creating the memorized transaction, the automate option is greyed out and cannot be selected. The only option available is to add it to a reminder list, which still requires manual entry. Can anyone advise me activate that option?thanks Benno
I recently had to migrate my company new a new instance of QB online and up to the Advanced version. Before i was able to have the payment link actually on the PDF version of the invoice. But now I cannot find out how to get it back!
I don't charge sales tax to my services and the invoices do not have any tax charges. It is a Quickbooks file from my EHR. I'm not able to upload the file.
