I have checked out community posts, given feedback to QuckBooks, Chatted and Called Quickbooks and still NO SOLUTION. Please help if anyone has been able to resolve. So frustrating and time consuming.
Hi! I had an issue with Square doubling my sales and I have figured out the solution to stop that from happening. The new issue is that in my P&L report, the sales are still doubled. I can see the Square deposits AND the individual invoices from each client. My reconciliations are even and I’m unsure how to move forward. How do I remove the extra “invoices” from my sales via the P&L report?
I have sent the invoice already. Customer paid me before the invoice was created, I just wanted to provide an invoice for our records. How do I mark the invoice as paid now?
Hello - I would like to be able to track employee labor to a specific project. However, I have employees who get paid different rates based on what they are doing on the particular day. For example, on the same day, one employee might be doing welding at $30 per hour for 3 hours and then operating equipment for 6 hours at $25 per hour. I know how to enter this in the weekly timesheet section assigning the hours to the correct project and payroll is working fine. When I go into the 'project' I would like to know the cost of labor for the specific project. I have read other posts that explain how to enter a 'hourly cost rate' for each employee...but this doesn't work if they have different pay rates depending on what they are doing? Why can't the project just pull in the information from the payroll system when I have assigned every hour to the correct project??? Please advise! Thanks!!!
We can view all of our customers in the online portal but the model app has several customers that aren’t in there anymore. Even if we sync the contacts it still doesn’t work. Plus the techs can no longer record a credit card payment as they are only able to log a payment instead of receiving. Thanks in advance.
Data entered into custom fields within the vendor center are not showing up on any transactional type report. More specifically, "Unpaid Bills Detail" report. *The custom fields were created correctly and there is no issues with the QuickBooks File or software. I have tested this on different computers and different versions of QuickBooks Desktop. This seems like a product limitation and I am wondering if anyone found a workaround so the data in the custom fields will populate on Vendor reports?
Example .02363 (rate) x 7505 (quantity) = $177.34 but when I enter the rate it changes it to .02 giving me an incorrect total of $150.10. This never use to happen.
My Question: If we incur an out of pocket expense for a client, and charge them on the following month's invoice for that exact amount, is that considered taxable income and therefore should be shown as part of revenue on the income statement? Example: We incur sometimes well over $30K in advertising/marketing/contractor support expenses throughout the year that we then bill to our client at that exact cost a month or so later (and then receive back sometimes 2 or 3 months later). We DO NOT have to provide them with receipts. Workflow for this in QBO:- I am not the only one in the books. I think the billable expense feature will be too complicated and time consuming. For example, we would have to split & assign over $5,000 in advertising expenses to each client, and remember to add it to the invoices each month. - Would it make sense to create an service called "reimbursed expense" for any billable expenses we receive back, and track the expenses we incurred on behal
NEED TO RETREVE 2021 AND 2022 QUARTERLY REPORTS
It works for sales estimates but not invoices.
I use QB 2022 Desktop. How do I post monthly mortgage payments with principal and interest amounts in General Journal ledger so it keeps my chart of accounts accurate?
helloCan I know if anyone is has a business profile purchasing inventory, renting it out- and later tracking it as rental assets
Duplicating an Invoice is still possible but NOT an Estimate.
I work in both CT and NY. I am set up to collect tax in CT but not NY. Its been this way for 5 years and never had this problem. This morning I cannot save an invoice for a NY customer as it states "unexpected tax line found". Nothing has changed except that I cant save the invoice. Anyone know if an update was applied? Or what I can do to get past this? I have checked the box that I don't collect tax for NY but it continues.
Tl;dr Instructions below for creating a “Bill by Customer Detail” report. Information current as of 05/25/2024, using QBO Advanced. To my fellow QBO users: I understand your pain with QBO reports. I’ve been onboarding with QBO (Advanced) over the last multiple weeks. My experience has been horrible. After much beating of my head against the proverbial wall, many exclamations of frustration (to put it mildly), and an excruciating amount of exploration in QBO’s reporting menus, I have now discovered a means of generating a useable “Bills by Customer Detail” report. I have posted the instructions below in hopes the information will be helpful. From the Reports screen:Create a New Report, using “Bills” as the report typeAdd two columns:Columns > More Columns > Bills > Line Items > Customer > “Customer”Columns > More Columns > Bills > Line Items > Account > “Description"Filter:By: Paid StatusOptions: EqualsValue: UnpaidExport to Excel:Delet
Can I get my old invoice form back?
I lose all progress on the estimate when this happens. Makes it impossible to send quotes while out in the field
