i have phoned qb's 3 times this week...they say there is an issue? anyone else heard that?
Hi there, not sure I have selected the correct discussion topic. In 2023 we purchased a travel trailer for our business, as my husband often works out of state and out of town. I put it under, "tools, machinery and equipment". When I run the P&L I am not seeing it? This is alarming to me, as I would like to show it as a cost of business and for it to show as an expense, going against our totals. How do I do this so that is the case? I feel I must not have entered it correctly? Thank you......
I have recently set up another company on my QuickBooks. I don't want to have to set up item codes when entering invoices. I would prefer to choose right from the chart of accounts for where to post the transaction. Is that something I can change or do I have to start over creating a company and would the information I already have entered transfer over if I start over.
I have a Quickbooks Online account. One moment I sent an invoice, the next I cannot edit/create any invoices.

HelloI have been waiting for many many months for Quickbooks online to fix the bug in the custom transactions report. It is beyond frustrating. I have several custom transaction reports, and I need to click on an transaction in the custom report and either add text to the memo or change the account etc. But after you click 'Save and Close', quickbooks redirects you to an All Vendor All Transactions report when it should go back to the report that you were just working in.It is beyond frustrating having to keep going back again after each Save and Close. It is not a browser, cache, computer, mobile, or tablet issue. I have run tests on it all. Anyone else having the same issue? thanks p.s. really wish quickbooks would have an email support system so we could send screenshots or screencasts of what is happening instead of calling their call center.
In a Report, what causes QB to list many small Amounts for a single Original Amount? This typically occurs for reimbursed expenses tracked in an income account. The expense and invoiced amount is the single number shown in Original Amount. The Amounts always total to the Original Amount, but it is odd. Example: OriginalType Date Name Memo Split  
What is best way to void checks issued in a closed period. Does the adjustment to cash and the expense dated in the current period ? I tried to do this and i got a warning about adjusting a closed period and need tohave the credit to expense occur in current period not in prior period
Hello, Our company is using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop. We are working to do a bulk update on reorder points for inventory items. We exported a .csv file of the entire items list, however, I am concerned that if we export the list --> change the reorder points --> and import the list back in QuickBooks at a later date or time that it will reset the Quantity on Hand for items that were sold during business hours. Is there a way to exclude the Quantity on Hand column of the spreadsheet from being affected when importing back into QB? Can I just delete the column and re-import or will it not import correctly? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Hi,I use QBKS 2019 for Desktop Mac. I have entered many GJs and allocated most lines to different Vendors. When I check Vendor records in Vendor Quick Reports and Vendor Center, most GJs don't show up. For example, Vendor XYZ has about 100 transactions via 20 GJs but on the Vendor record only two of the 20 GJs show up. What am I doing wrong? I checked various Vendors, it is the same across the board, and inconsistent. Plus it is not always the same two GJs that show up. Seems to be random. I did set the search criteria to All Transactions. Thanks in advance.
I need a profit and loss report by category then by vendor in Desktop. I found solutions in Online, but can't find desktop solution. The P&L Detail gives me breakdown of what I spent with each transaction by vendor. I need to group all the vendors as one line. Example: Kroger $10.00 and Kroger $5.00 I want on the report to show Kroger $15.00
We have searched the Internet extensively and only find instructions for checks printed locally by us. This check was sent directly from Intuit after debiting our bank account. We can't just void in our QBO because the funds have been taken from our bank.
When I make a copy and save it asks me if I am sure I want to save changes to a reconciled entry. It a brand new entry and has not previously been reconciled.
It is an absolute shame that QB set up the new invoices for the essentials account to only service businesses that sell & ship merchandise. We are a small service-oriented business, and we are required by law to have our business license on our invoice by our company information or pay exorbitant fines. QB does not provide a line for that or let us use other lines that are there (ie: website & email) for it. There is nowhere for a Job Site and if you were to choose to use the ship to for the Job Site it adds shipping costs, shipping numbers, etc. It is an all or nothing. QB was never user-friendly to service business which is why we designed our own invoices and cannot use now. It is not cost-effective for us to upgrade just to use our own invoices, that we designed, as it goes up to $100.00 and after 3 months it will be $200.00 a month vs. $60. We are a Mom & Pop part-time business that does not utilize all the features we have now. So, upgrading does not make financial se
