We sell goods on behalf of clients and receive the full value of goods sold. These are not our funds we just receive the funds and pass them on to the client. We do though deduct our service invoice amount from these funds before passing on the remainder. Can you suggest the best way to post this in order to allocate payment against the correct invoice and client repayment? Thanks
I am trying to contact QuickBooks technical team on the app direct but I am only getting an option to post this request for technical help on a community forum…
I have added default accounts to the records of several suppliers but when I download invoices from these suppliers the default accounts do not appear.

I am the responsible for uploading PDF invoices in QBs which are in general very similar from month to month. I normally copy the previous invoice and amend the date and inv. number. Is there a quicker way to do it? Thank you.
If batch actions - send transactions is used , I do not get the chance to check/edit/review the email, it just fires them off and our standard email template needs to be changed depending on who we are dealing with.
Hi, I have a simple question which I cannot find the Answer to.If I have an invoice from a supplier who is NOT vat registered how do I post the invoice in QB with regards to the VAT setting. I have entered all invoices with no vat (As in they are not registered) as NO VAT but when I run the VAT return it does not account or show these transactions in the return. Is that right? I thought that all purchase invoice transactions, with or without vat should be included in the VAT return.ThanksJohn
The invoice total was say £1000, but after paypal took their fee, we only recieved say £800. I have created an expense for the paypal fee, but how do i connect this expense to the original customer invoice in order for it to be showed as fully paid?
Hi, i have just signed up for QBs Self employed... i have spoken with an online Chat person, but I'm still not totally convinced i have the correct answer. My Question is : How do I record Income from my PAYE employer which is taxed at source, and also record Income i earn as a freelancer/Sole trader (Self assessment) within QB Self employed Online Software, correctly. I have been told i simply need to put the PAYE income in as 'personal' .... as I'm new to this i feel this just isn't accurate.... but i may be wrong. Can anyone else shed light on this? i have seen some posts a year or so ago... but the answers tend to end in, 'we recommend you speak with an accountant'. or they sort of loop back round to something ambiguous. Is there a Category for Business that shows the income is already Taxed/NI paid ect? Thanks in advance.
