Hi there. The 'pay bills' screen had stopped giving the option to choose to pay bills issued in a foreign currency (for example pay a USD bill from a USD account). This has now returned (yay) but the exchange rate field is missing from the pay bills screen where it used to be. Instead the bill is paid at an exchange rate of 1 and you have to go back to the bill payment to edit the exchange rate. Anyone know how I can get Intuit to fix this?
Hi, I need an advice on Director's Loan Account, please. While I was reconciling my bank transactions, I noticed some of cash deposits from myself/director's personal fund to my business bank accounts ware entered as "Deposit" to match bank feeds. But others were sorted out by Journal Entries. Is it okay to leave them as they are or do I need to change all "Deposit" entry to Journal entry? I use QBO in UK, but I'm asking this in USA site as I couldn't get any advice on that site.I appreciate if someone can advice me on this.
the account used for Quickbooks is used exclusively for my self-employed business. I take money out and put in my personal account as "salary". Because this is a deduction from the account, it looks like an expense and so isnt counted as income, which it is. I want Quickbooks to be able to show me what i owe in tax at the end of the year, but unless i can find a way of it counting this "expense" as part of the profits, I cannot. Can you help?
I have made payments to a supplier but i cannot allocate them to a specific transaction. e.g the invoices raised were for AED 10 and AED 15 but i have made payment for AED 2 and AED 5. The running balance with the supplier should be AED 18. How to post these payments? Do we have to settle the bills can't we keep bills and payments seperately.
Having trouble not haven’t sorry
Hello, I need to match a payment in my PayPal Euro account to an invoice, but there is no option to match this transaction. I have searched previous threads and I am aware this feature cannot be used in foreign currency accounts and that I need to match this manually. The problem is, I use Quickbooks because I'm not an accountant and this was supposed to make things easier. Would someone kindly walk me through HOW to do this manually? Thanks in advance
Why is quickbooks showing my Business unit rent as disallowable when the Gov website states its allowable
