For example, 3 different companies A, B, C. Company B paid for services to company C using company card but the services belongs to company A and company C issued an invoice to company B. Now, I have to recall the payment from company A. Can I issue an invoice to company A for the same amount charged company B by company C. How to record transactions? Thank you.

Hello, Instead of issuing a refund receipt for a payment already received, my partner voided the original client invoice by mistake. Unfortunately the invoice date was in the previous filing period. Would the following steps be correct to restore balance in our accounts: 1. Recreate the voided invoice to clear Exceptions for the current filing period. (Can I re-create it with the same Invoice number?) 2. Apply the un-applied payment which is still in the system to the re-created invoice. 3. Issue a Refund receipt against the payment. Many thanks for detailed advice.
Hi, Up until recently, I've entered the due date for an invoice by simply selecting a date in the date picker and saving it with no problems. However, today, I tried to do just that and when I clicked save, the date in the due date field changed back to today's date. For example... Today is the 29/07/2019. I create a new invoice and enter the date 01/01/2020 in the due date field, however, when I click save, the date reverts to the 29/07/2019. This also happens when using Chrome Incognito. EDIT: I tried editing the due date on my android app, and that seemed to be fine. I then went back to the on-line version on my laptop and if I put in the due date of my choice and saved it, whilst it shows today's date in the due field, when I open the link that is generated (which is what I send the client), it's my preferred date. If I then try to save it again, the due date reverts back to today's date when I open the link. Does that all make sense? It looks like there's something wrong
Hi All, Since starting out I have made 6 bank transactions from my business current account to the two shareholders current accounts.I wish to record these as directors loans, for which I have been advised to create a journal entry for each transaction. This is how I have handled the loan payment:Journal for CR business current account & DR directors loan account (setup as a current asset account).2. Then matched the bank transaction to the journal. Then at year end I now need to repay the loan using dividends, there was enough profit to repay the loans made in the last FY, so now I need to pay down the loan and record the dividend. This is where I come unstuck? I've read lots of stuff about where this important transaction needs to sit.... Can anyone offer any guidance on this.Your help is greatly appreciated.
Please confirm that there is a fix and how long this might take please, thanks Max
