Can anyone help me - I'm looking to record auction transactions on Quickbooks - Sales Receipts for Buyers into a Clients Fund Account and Payments for the Sellers from the Clients Fund Account - Commissions and VAT to be transferred from Clients Account to Business Account
I need to move a transaction from October to July without impacting my bank reconciliation. How can I do it?
Hi, I’ve just signed up to QuickBooks. To say it’s not been straight forward as I was hoping is an understatement. The app every time I click add transaction it crashes. I’ve tried uninstalling then reinstalling and that doesn’t help. Any advice that may help is much appreciated.
I had a real issue with converting my statements to CVS files. i"ve finally done that and thought HOORAY and imported them but all the transactions are INCOME when they definitely are not. Can I change these or do I have to delete them all and try again? Thank you

Having only signed up to Quickbooks recently and spending hours trying to find a suitable Invoice template, I have been told by the online chat that I am unable to change the heading of 'Ship To' on my Invoices!I really hope there is a way around this as this is not suitable for our business. Can anyone help?
I have always been a pen and paper person thus using QBO is a big learning curve.We run a small community style magazine and sell space thus we only have 4 items in inventory at the same price with the variation being discount levels this still only leaves 17 amounts in the bank statements. Many do not pay bang on time and also not always include the updated monthly invoice number which makes matching a bit of a job. TBH my partner and myself do not devout the correct amount of time and have let things drift, funds are in bank but to prepare for reports and accountant is the whole purpose of having QBO. Posted this question yesteday but the formatting got messed up, so trying again: The company's street address has 2 lines, but the invoice template only has 1 field. How can I add an extra address field so the client's address formats correctly? Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have recently joined a company that uses Quickbooks. Unfortunately the person who has been dealing with the accounting has not been matching income to customer invoice so I have 360 items for review. I've been in touch with the Quickbooks team & have been told that I need to match them one by one to get them out of review (the quickbooks balance doesn't match the bank balance). My predecessor manually received the credit against the invoice so all of the invoices are already paid, so I would have to undo the payment received, then match the item. Sadly, some of the clients accounts no longer exist & there are payments where it is not clear who the client was due to the generic description on the payment. Basically, I need to find a way to remove these items (without losing the information in case I need to refer to it in the future) so that the quickbooks & bank account balances match. Does an

In my template the Message on Invoice field is left blank, but I fill this in when I create a new invoice for each sale (as the notes in that box are different for every customer).This message used to show up on the invoice Print preview and Print out on the invoice.Suddenly now the Message on Invoice field does not show on my Print preview or print out on the invoice anymore. I'am inputting data into the Message on Invoice box in each invoice and this is being saved (I can see it when editting an invoice but it does not show on Print preview on invoices anymore.I have tried clearing the browser cache. This used to show up but has suddenly disappeared.
I have been using Quickbooks Self-Employed for several years. Recently, my bank connection (Fidelity Investments) stopped synching and had to be updated. I followed the QBSE guidance and created a "new" connection for the bank. I then had to "exclude" all of the duplicate entries (which were a lot) back to the beginning of the year. On my bank accounts page, I now have two sets of accounts. One before the update and the other after the update. The problem is that when I look at my account balances on my Home screen, they are 2X the action account balances because of the duplicate set of bank accounts. (see attached screenshots) If I hide the original, pre-conversion accounts, then I lose all of the history associated with my pre-conversion data which extends back several years. But the account balances will be correct. However, if I "un-exlcuded" all of the new data, I don't think all of my 2023 entries will be prese
We have been using 2 Custom Forms Invoices for printing since we started, but since Friday, when I try printing one of these forms in the print preview screen, it displays the view you would get if you wanted to edit an Invoice form, so for the moment I'm having to print using the Standard Form. This seems to effect all new invoices and going back to December 18, previous invoice to that date still preview and print as desired correctly.
How can you create the csv file to import? I just exported an xls file before and it created a CVS file but now my computer won't do it. I have been spending 4 hours trying to import one month of data. This is not satisfactory. Can anyone help. I was able to do this is Microsoft 365 but now it won't do it. I have tried ten times every which way. Thank you. I am finding Quickbox really unhelpful as I could do half my year's accounts in 5 hours so its doubling the time I am spending because there are two many unexplained stages and no human to talk to.
Is there a fault with the drop down menu when selecting a Customer when creating an Invoice?
