My predecessor didn't do a full nominal export so I don't have cloud copy. Backups are available but QB desktop won't open them.
Hello, I'm issuing invoice for foreign customer and on invoice should be placed "reverse charge" text. Could you suggest me how should I place "reverse charge" text on invoice with QB Online? Through Custom form styles or is there any other way?
I have connected a new business account, there won't be any personal transactions going through the account. Is there a way I can have QB Self-Employed recognise all these transactions as business or do I have to manually categorise them?
My client has bills paid by her husband who doesn't have his bank account feeding into her QB account. How do I treat them and account for the payment?

I can't see any of my transactions. I've checked in review, categorise and excluded. They must be in there somewhere as the balance is matching my banak balance. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can anyone help out with accounting for landed costs when importing. I use multicurrency so current workflow.... 1. Overseas supplier invoice recorded and paid in USD / EURO etc2. Shipping paid in GBP to UK based shipping company3. Import duty / clearance paid in GBP to UK based company for customs4. Supplier USD prices pasted into a spreadsheet with GBP shipping / customs charges. Spreadsheet distributes the costs and calculates the ACTUAL landed cost of items The problem I have is how to then allocate this to the item costs in QBO. If it was all in GBP it would be easy (reduce shipping / customs clearance account and increase item stock value)The method used is from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zChuAlHNd6YI am stuck how to reduce the shipping / duty account as the supplier invoice is in USD so I am not able to follow the guide exactly as it is in the video. Any help by a genuine human and not a forum bot would be appreciated!

If I buy/lease a van to use for business and personal, what do I actually claim for/against? I assume I can just track my business mileage. But what about the Lease/HP/Loan? Thanks in advance.

Hey, When getting ready for our annual audit we have found a number of overdue bills. When I go to the supplier profile, I can see that there is an item of expenditure for the bill linked to the bank transaction as well as a bill. Is there any way to merge these two transactions into one?
Quickbooks self-employed recently lost the connection with my bank and I was guided through reconnecting with my bank account by a member of their support team. The connection was re-established but over 500 of my previously categorised transactions dating back to 2022 have reverted to being uncategorised. I have simply been told that I need to recategorise them. As a sole trader with limited time to spend in re-working data lost by Quickbooks and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed not only with the original error but with the way it has been concluded. I am now looking for alternative services to quickbooks to help wm manage my bank data and no longer feel happy to recommend this service to others. If you have had a similar experience with lost connections to your bank accounts I advise you to tread very carefully if following advice given by the support team.
Has anybody experienced functions just disappearing? Right now I don't seem to have the "get paid by direct debit" function.
I use QBOA - for a number of clients I created a custom field that could be added to individual sales invoices and that could also be shown in the Customer / Transaction list. However over the last few weeks when I go to the cog to add this field back into the view you can no longer add the Custom Field. I used this field as a reference for each sales invoice as otherwise when you're viewing the list of sales invoices its pretty meaningless if you have mutliptle invoices per customer in a month. I've spoken to your online help they said I needed to feedback (which I've already done) but said they take their time to do an update. You've basically removed a feature that was already there so i would like this fixed - I've also contacted my account manager but no response either. Could you look into this issue for me and someone else solved this problem?
App must still remember them as had to recreate a payee I use frequently and I said I couldn't use an existing contact
