We have an expense management application which we would like to integrate with QuickBooks. My query is that in sandbox in case of UK and INR, I see tax in purchas but in case of US, I don't see the tax. So, in case of US do we have an option of tax? Please see screenshots in the attached file.
My accountant advised that I needed to make a VAT adjustment (lower than reporting threshold). I made adjustment exactly as they advised and submitted the return, that all seemed in order and for the correct adjusted amount as paid. I have since gone to reconcile and find that the VAT adjustment was wrongly allocated to a savings account we hold. I obviously didn't notice that it was showing allocation to a particular account when adjusting. I can't now find any way to go back and amend the adjustment so that it doesn't show in this savings account. How do I stop this adjustment from showing in the savings account? At the moment I am reconciling but ignoring this entry so that all our books/accounts balance. So it is not a case of changing what VAT we are actually paying just a case of changing how it was recorded last quarter in Quickbooks. What account should it be allocated to?
Just green circle keeps going round, it did disappear for a little while but no submit return button available. When I refreshed the page the green circle came back...…...
Hi, I’m preparing a new clients VAT return and am struggling to work out how to record her mileage for her vehicle in Quickbooks, so that the VAT can be reclaimed for fuel.I need to post her fuel receipts which I gather without the VAT as can only claim the mileage used - does anyone know the process of how I do this please?!
I am trying to file this quarters vat but when I go into taxes/vat it does not show the returns / payments and all I get is a green circle going around and around. I have tried clearing cache to no avail. Worked last time but not now, does anyone have any ideas?
