Does anyone know what is happening about the migration of data from desktop to online due to the discontinuation of Desktop? My understanding was that there would be an announcement on the 1st of August 22.
I have 3 companies setup in QBO. 1 is for personal, 1 is for my normal business, and I have 1 set for a side gig that only has 10-15 transactions a year. For the side gig company, is it possible to move it inside my normal business? It doesn't make sense for me to keep paying a subscription for so few transactions. Within the side gig business, I have a bank account and credit card account and use about 8 (categories/charts of accounts). Is this possible? Thank you
I am the treasurer of our local u3a (University of the 3rd Age), in case you haven't heard of us we are a Uk based National organisation with branches throughout the UK https://www.u3a.org.uk. As a branch we have over 700 members paying an annual membership fee, income which comes in once a year. We have two bank accounts one for unrestricted funds utilising the membership income for speakers, meetings, accounting and general expenses relating to the branch. The second restricted account is for our activities, we have around 50 diverse groups most of which have income and expenditure especially Theatre groups and outings. I currently control things with a large spreadsheet paying bills and recording income from the groups and membership. The turnover is around £70k / year and requires me to spend around 4 hours a week of unpaid voluntary work to keep control of the figures. I assume that the letter in a blue circle on the top right of the QBOL window means "me", and clicking on this is meant to pull down a menu which would have a sign-out option. But when I click on this button, the screen goes grey and no pull-down menu appears.
Hi, I'm not sure if anyone is able to see my previous post, but essentially the issue I've run into is I've somehow accidentally set myself as both the basic user and accountant user for a family member's new QBO subscription. I'm new to QBOA and she is my first client. I've set the billing to go to her, but because it's my information set as the primary user, she never received an email to create her login credentials. So, my question is, how can I change her account information so that she is the basic user, and I am the accountant user? Also, what did I do wrong to cause the issue in the first place and how do I avoid it with my next client? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tara
