I have several investment properties all in individual LLCs.
I have an LLC, taxed as S corp. I am the 100% owner, and only employee in state of Washington. I work as Real Estate Agent. I am in the process of setting up my state tax withholding and the respective department were not helpful so hopefully I can find the answer here.
transaction download recently not working with Elan Financial for Credit cards
They are thousands of dollars off so it's not simply a matter of it not being synced with the most recent account info.
We had a bookkeeper that incorrectly added large amounts of transactions to a new line item instead of the proper line. I want to move them but doing individually will take a LONG time.

I know I am doing this backwards but I have to fix it to start again correctly: I have been reconciling the subaccount credit cards and I want to zero out the parent account balance.
I'm currently facing an issue with my reconciliation process in QuickBooks, and I'm hoping someone here can provide some guidance. As a rep-payee, I recently received permission from the SSA to utilize a collective account to manage funds for multiple individuals. In QuickBooks, I have set up a Parent bank account with several Child bank accounts attached to it to keep track of each individual's ownership. Here's where I'm encountering a challenge: I made a deposit for two different individuals, and I forgot to request the teller to split them up. So when the bank statement arrived, I was unable to correctly match the 1 transaction with the 2 transactions that were displayed in the parent account. Ideally, I would like the deposit to show as a single deposit in the Parent account, while also being split up into the respective Child accounts for each individual in QuickBooks. For example, if I made a $200 deposit for 2 different people, I want the parent account to show $
Hello, I need help with this self-employed account, my client says that he has already received the w9 but he still does not see my information from my bank to deposit
Today I switched from QuickBooks Mac Plus 2023 desktop to QuickBooks Online Essentials. I seem to be missing the specific button under the "Banking" area of the Home Page to open the Check Register. I see that I can access the register it by opening the chart of accounts and then clicking on the bank register from within that window, but was wondering if there is a way to have the check register be available on the "top level" of the home page online. It would save a lot of time when bouncing back and forth between entering and paying bills and checking the running balance of the checking account. Thanks in advance,Tom
I recently moved from desktop to online QB mainly because QB demands a ransom for my desktop even though I had fully paid when I bought it. The data transfer was smooth, but I cannot link my cc acount to my issuer to download new transactions.
They are illegally using ypur funds and your customers funds for they own gains I spoke with ga commissioner of accountancy office yesterday we can sue them!
QuickBooks tells me to check my email but I didn't receive anything
Why I didn't see the transaction after I linked my Amazon account?
How do I import a journal entry from a spreadsheet?
My bank was acquired and then changed how one logs in basically forcing me to set up a new account in Quickbooks to download transactions. I merged the two accounts but lost bank reconciliations. All the transactions in my general leger are "reconciled" and so I think that is why I cannot recreate the report?

It was to a personal checking account a credit union. The money is still showing available in my QuickBooks so it’s not due to lack of funds. I got no notification from my bank I was transferring to that they reversed it or even make note or mention of it ever being attempted so I don’t understand what happened it’s still showing that same account as being linked to my QuickBooks account because I even logged into my bank I tried to transfer it to thru QuickBooks and it shows it current bal which is also positive. Why would this be happening? Why won’t my fund transfer to my checking account from my QuickBooks checking account clear?
I just started receiving a popup that AMEX downloads will stop working 3/30/23 (actually the popup is wrong and says 3/30/22 ,but it links to a correct web page that says this year, in about two weeks).Refresh your connection for Express Web Connect online bankingThe article basically says turn off your bank feeds and set them up using the institution account name "American Express - QBDT". However, that account doesn't exist in the account list, only the old "American Express" which is going to break in two weeks.Help? Anybody else?
Hello, I did my first reconciliation for a credit card statement and then paid a bill using personal funds. The personal account I used the funds to pay down the credit card is not linked in my QuickBooks Online account, and I don't want to add it there. My payment to the credit card is displaying as a bank transaction since I do I have the credit card account linked in QBO, but I do not know if I should categorize, record as transfer, or record as credit card payment.
my expenses show from way back in February of 2022. But my transactions only show back to July of 2023, when I subscribed to Quickbooks.
My 2021 Quickbooks desktop just started limiting my bank deposits to only 16 checks at a time for printing the deposit summary. We make physical deposit into the bank weekly from our church offerings and do not use bank feeds. When we make the deposit in Quickbooks, the total deposit is recorded, but we are unable to print the summary since QB pops up a warning that only 16 checks can fit on the deposit slip (which is not true, nor do we use any computer generated deposit slip for our bank). Being a church, we did a paper trail for the trustees to verify the total deposit made without totaling 3-8 Quickbooks generated deposit summaries to the actual deposit receipt provided by the bank when we deposit the monies.
I had a reconciliation that required hours of work and finally did an adjusting entry for $1,671 in ticket sales deposits. When I began working on the next month's reconciliation I found the actual deposits that were not cleared that almost match the adjusting entry. I want to manually clear those deposits in the check register and then change the adjusting entry to account for those deposits as they are entered in my sales receipts and I don't want to delete them as the information is important. I spent many hours on that reconciliation plus another 4 hours today on the current one. This seems to be the best way to proceed without having to do hours of work over again. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Jackie
I created a bill and paid it last week but the vendor's bank details changed so it was reversed and deposited in the account. A few questions:For the reversal - I know I will categorize it the same so that it goes back to the original account that was debited. For repayment with the correct bank details - do I create another bill and another bill payment so that the bank transaction will have something to match once it clears or should I be matching it to that original bill?As I am typing this, I think I just realized the answer but I would like to get another viewpoint to confirm.
