When I synced the card, I chose to sync from 1/1/21—but for some reason it's only syncing from April. Is there a place I can go to confirm that the dates are set from 1/1/21 and repull the data for the missing dates? I'd prefer to not remove the account and start over, I've already categorized 300 transactions.

How can I synchronize two Quickbooks Online (QBO) companies into a third/separate “umbrella” QBO company? My objective is to automate a consolidated QBO company showing the combined performance of my umbrella organization’s two sub-companies. The sub-companies must remain separate as they are separate corporations. Syncing the two companies into a summary QBO account would save a lot of time on generating performance reports for evaluation of the umbrella organization.
Hi there! I issued a refund through square for a product that was returned for the amount with tax of 79.50. So square will be pulling 77.33 from our checking account and covering the 2.17 fee. My question is how do I account for this refund? I made a refund receipt for the full amount with all of the information on the original sales receipt but I'm not sure how to account for the fee reversal when the fee is taken out of the amount? I use QBO.
I am the new bookkeeper in a business that hasn't had one for several months. The accountant has linked the bank account to QBO and has been reconciling the account remotely. I am playing "catch-up" and have been entering daily sales/deposits from the first of the year. All of the daily deposits that should have been linked to the bank deposits are sitting in undeposited funds and I cannot link them since all the accounts are reconciled. Or at least I don't think I can...is it possible?
Good afternoon, We use QB Desktop Accountant 2019. When I was reconciling our bank account, I found a check that cleared the bank on the 15th. I couldn't find the check in QB, so I printed a copy of the cleared check from the bank. It surely did come from us and was recent --- not something left over from long ago. My question is: It was obvious we printed the check from QuickBooks, and the person who did it recalls doing it. How is it possible that it didn't post to the bank account? I appreciate any ideas or thoughts anybody has. Thank you.
This started happening from the start of PR, but only came to light when converting from Desktop to Online.
After clicking "resume reconciling" the next window does not show the transactions in the account for the month I am reconciling. I went manually to Accounting/Chart of Accounts, and removed the reconcile status - which was C and now is blank. Retried reconcile - same result. It will not let me reconcile the account. I have reconciled other accounts, but this one will not reconcile.
I have tried to follow the refund processes, there seem to be so many.So I received a refund in the financial year that I started quickbooks but the payment was made in the previous financial year, only a few months apart.I have ended up with the amount in the correct expense account but A/P now shows a credit to the vendor. I am totally lost on how to fix this, it just seems so complicated to refund money to an expense account. Please help.Thankyou
