I would like to clean up our inventory asset value of Qty 0.00 (Zero) but they have small asset value.Could you please teach me the way how can I clean up them? We have negative and positive both small asset values like below examples. <Item A>QTY 0.00Asset Value -0.01 (Negative) <Item B>QTY 0.00Asset Value +0.03 (Positive) Thank you so much for your help in advance.Best regards.
I am a QB desktop user and need to modify the trial balance report. I want to use the raw data contained in the trial balance report to be the underlying data in a financial model. I need the individual rows where the account and debit/credit information is contained to include at a minimum Class, but date would also be helpful. What other reports have QB users found to be helpful for downloading historical financial data and loading it into a projection model? One suggestion I found online suggested running the IS & BS detail reports and combining them to get a trial balance proxy with class. The issue i'm running into with this is the report formatting when I export to excel. There's too many rows and columns with subtotals that make rolling this into a pivot table impossible.
HI Team,Need help in fixing the following error while opening the QBW file in QB Accountant 23.0 (desktop):"You have exceeded the maximum number of users who can access the company at one time"We have license for 2 users and at one time, only one user can login and work on the company file.If user1 logs, then user2 gets the error message;If user2 logs, then user1 gets the error message; I tried the following but no luck:-switching to the multi;-rebuidling;-repairing;-syncing data online;-restarting the workstations;-restarting the QB services; So please help.Thank you.

How do you generate invoices to be sent later that has a attachment?
We currently have ES 20.0 and want to open the company file on a less powerful program such as QB Pro or QB online. We only need one user, no employees, and no payroll. I understand that an ES data file can't be opened by these less capable programs. Can we export most of the data/lists from ES into QB Pro or QB online and start from scratch knowing that we may lose most of the historical transaction data? What is the least expensive QB product to use?
Will the desktop version stop working in 2023? There is conflicting information out there.
While chatting with a QBO support agent recently, they made mention of a QBO app called Mamba which is supposed to be geared towards power users and accountants. I was able to confirm with them that it's a third-party app. I'm interested to know if anyone has experience using this app and whether they'd recommend using it.
While reading through this community, I see a lot of peoples problems with sending their invoices over email. 1. Their invoice won't send over email 2. The customer cannot find the invoice email 3. Email takes too long to respond to So my question is, is there any way possible to text messaging to send my invoices? Perhaps attach my invoice document to a text message and send that text message to all applicable customers. If you've experimented with anything like this, please let me know. Thanks!
I have my personal bank account conected to Quickbooks self-employed. My credit card is also issued through that bank.When I pay my credit card each month, I take money from one of my accounts (checking or savings), and I see that amount as a withdrawal with a minus sign. I then see the amount I paid to the credit card as a green amount.I have categorized the amount I withdrew as a Transfer, since I transfered it from one of my money accounts to the credit card. I categorize the credit card as a Personal Credit Card Payment. Is this the correct way to account for these things? Should the money I took from my account to cover the payment be classified as a withdrawal or CC Payment as well? Does this affect my taxes in any way?Thank you!
Hello,I have excel report to show profit by doing below math:Invoice amounts minus ( expenses +checks+bills).When I run this by month and compare to qbo profit & loss report, I found qbo P&L shows a way higher positive amount than my excel report. I have wasted the last several days trying to get help with Multi User. I have chatted and talked with QB support but I feel as if no one understands what I need help with.I have QB Accountant Desktop 2021 setup on 2 computers, I just added another license so I have 2 license. I set my computer up as the server (I think) How do I get the other workstation to access the server and work on our clients that we do accounting for?I am really wishing someone could remote into my computer and help me out.I feel this should not take so much of my timeThanks
Hello, Was wondering if I'm able to merge/combine/consolidate multiple company files that are all under the same EIN in QuickBooks Desktop. My predecessor did not know that you could add more than a couple bank accounts to a company file so she opened different company files. Thank you!

Has anyone followed the instructions on the Intuit website for Step 2 - Copy a Quickbooks Online Advanced company and copied it to a new Online Advanced company.I have now spent over 8 hours in a two week period and talked with dozens of representatives, none of whom could help me and now I have been on hold for 1 hour and 26 minutes with Advanced Online support and still cannot find anyone who can troubleshoot why the New Copy link is grayed out and will not allow for the transfer of the company data. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to find the NEW Quickbooks Online App for Mac. But I'm afraid that there is a sea of topics out there that link to the old app. For example, this community topic, last updated four weeks ago, has a link to the old app, with the huge banner saying that the app will stop updating after April 20, 2021. When I log into my QBO account on a Mac, I can go to the gear icon and click the "Get the desktop app" link on the menu. But that downloads the Windows version, which obviously won't run on a Mac. There's a button "Download for Windows," but not one for Mac. Where is the definitive location to get the Mac app? (And to be clear, in this morning's In the Know webinar, a Mac version IS available!) I'm afraid that I'm probably looking right at it, but just don't see it. And my Google-Fu so far is failing me. I manage quickbooks online for a company but i cannot find the company’s information under my intuit account.
I'm real familiar with exporting financial data from QB to Excel, but the data manipulation is a real pain. Since we're now budgeting on a class level, the task will be monumental. Is there any version of QuickBooks that shows this year's actuals, last year's actuals, AND budget info on one report?
I have a situation where somehow I closed out a PO and SO that still had pending bills and invoices and I can't work out how I did it and how to reopen it.Any help on resolving these two things would be greatly helpful.
I am interested in using QuickBooks with multiple users simultaneously. We have 5-6 people in our company that access Quickbooks for various duties, but we would only really have 2 people use it simultaneously. Since we don't need more than 2 simultaneous users, but I have 5-6 people, would it be possible for me to have 2 "users" and multiple people would share one of the user accounts? Or is a user tied to the license on their computer? Ideally I would like to have multiple people with Quickbooks installed on their "client" computer, but use the same user to log into the quickbooks server. Is that possible or is each installation required to have its own user?
I had a contractor of ours ask if we have the ability to set up more than one direct deposit amount when paying him? So essentially he'd like two direct deposit accounts set up with a percentage of his pay check depositing to one and the balance depositing to the other. Is there a way to do this?
I need help reconciling a credit card statement that has a credit on it. I am using Quick books online. All the resources I find is about statements that have a balance on it but there is no help with when the credit card has an actual credit on it. Kindly help me, so I can reconcile my account. Thanks
Howdy everyone! Been using QBO ever since GoDaddy sent the email about a month ago. I have been able to figure it out and get it working just the way I needed it too.Last 2 days I noticed the ebay Managed Payments under "app transactions" No longer updates. I keep getting this error: There was a problem updating your transactions! Please try again later. Reaching out to find out if anyone else is having the same issue. Support said it was something backend and should have been resolved in about 24 hours. Looking forward to any help!
