I had Guideline last year and cancelled at the beginning of 11/2024. Now i am unable to remove the payroll item from employees payroll contributions (note we never contributed). I have contacted guideline and they confirmed it was cancelled. They told me to contact QB support and they said to contact Guideline. So basically i am unable to get help. I went to every possible setting i know of in QB to try to disable and get the messages per the attachment. I remove QB from the Guideline website. Even though it is cancelled when i run payroll it still syncs with Guideline.Any advice how to get rid of it? QB 2024 Desktop enterprise

When I do payroll every week and add that expense transaction, I add a separate line for each project, and then "tag" that project. When I run job cost reports, the wage expenses are not included in the report. What do I need to do to get wages included in the job cost? I have attached a screenshot of a wage transaction as an example.
3 payrolls missing from previous year
The reminder to pay my taxes showed up in the Payroll Tax Center, but there is no link to filing the forms due for federal taxes only state forms. How do I get them to show up again? Automated taxes and forms is off.
May 1st starts a new sick time accrual for part-time and full-time. Accrual will be 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. So doesn't accrue when you use vacation or holidays, etc. If I use accrue every hour on paycheck at .03333 with that work?
We use QBO Advanced now. I need to create a Journal Entry to enter our payroll from ADP but we also have to job cost the technicians pay to all the jobs they worked on thru the week. We do not import the payroll from ADP. I need help to set up a Journal Entry templete to allocate the payroll and taxes to correct accounts and be able to job cost there payroll somehow. Can someone help me please?Teresa P.
I'm not sure what payroll version we are using, QB allows us to pay the taxes/forms in QBO. It has worked as far as I know correctly in previous quarters. Todays date is 4/9/25, yet it won't allow a date selection prior to 4/30 with a default withdrawal of 4/25. On the Payroll Center -Action Needed- Our state unemp tax is listed as ready to pay. Shows the correct Due 4/30/25 with a Pay by 4/28/25. Thank you.
CAUTION: If you received the email about updating the NJ disability insurace rates, there are inaccuracies in the letter. 1. The change is pertinent to DISABILITY insurance, however the instructions in the email show how to change UNEMPLOYMENT insurance. 2. THE RATE IS WRONG IN THE EMAIL. The email says 0.023%, however according to NJ, the correct rate is 0.23%. Intuit -- please proofread your communications!
I need the customer PO to appear on the project report. How can I import the PO into QB Time?
We use projects to track expenses and see if jobs are profitable but sometimes the estimate is done a long time before the project is confirmed and created. Can you go and add that existing estimate into a project?
The employee has a work location assigned in QB to the correct state (where work is completed) yet QB Payroll shows critical tax information is missing. I checked my resources and I can't find a reason withholding should go to the state where the employee lives but does not work. Am I missing something or is this a QB internal error and is there a fix?
Pay period was 3/16-3/31. QB defaulted to the future payroll. I need to reverse and re-do.

Can someone tell me how I can backup Quickbooks Online Payroll data? My client has QBO with QBO Payroll and they don't want to pay for Advanced just to get PR data backups. Rewind is a most awesome product for QBO backups (I highly recommend! Everyone should be using it.) But, due to Intuit not allowing the API interface to work with Rewind (security, they say, for real?) you can't use it to backup the payroll info. I'm thinking if Intuit won't let Rewind in to do a backup, then there's probably no other apps out there either that can. Thus the client has to download PR reports....is that the only way?thanks.
Can I process a new employee for payroll that was processed last friday apirl 4, 2025
I try to enter all zeros but QBO won't accept that either. I can run payroll but the proper PA withholding won't be deducted.
