Is there a 401(k) report that I can customize and download with information regarding the following fields?- Rehire date- Eligibility date- Participation date- Phone- Email- Hourly vs. Salary- Contributions split into Traditional 401(k), Roth 401(k), and Employer Match- Employee name split into First, Middle, Last, Employee Sex, Pay Date? The only report I can find is the Deferred Compensation Report 401(k).
I have finalised the payrun for the month and submitted both an FPS and EPS to HMRC for the month. In the payrun, I was asked to exclude an employee from the pay-run. However, I've now been advised that the employee now needs to be paid for the month. Can you tell me how I go about re-running the payrun just for that employee, or do I re-run it for all employees? Also, if the latter, how will HMRC know to ignore the first FPS I submitted?

Why is Intuit, a company we pay thousands upon thousands of dollars per year in fees with, now forcing my small business to pay additional yearly fees to become PCI compliant? We don't handle our customer's credit card information. This is a huge misstep by Intuit. At a minimum, Intuit should pay the yearly fee for compliance if they are going to force this upon us.
(this is for a catch-up qualified employee)
When we received our accountant copy back, an error caused our IT person to create a copy of our company file and mistakenly told our accountant to use the wrong file while the rest of the office used the other file. Now we have two months of payroll data on the wrong copy of the company file and we don't know how to move that information onto the correct copy so that we can delete the extra company file. What a mess! Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello, I have several hourly employees. These employees are paid for "Missed meal breaks", Vacation and sick leave hours.I have setup in QB where the employee accures hours for vacation based on the hours worked. My problem is the Meal breaks, Sick leave and vacation take should not be accuring additional vacation hours.I have talked to assisted payroll support for several hours with several agents with no luckAny clue?
I am using QuickBooks Enterprise and need to set up a pre-tax contribution to an employee's 529 college savings plan. I am not seeing this as an option when I try to set up the new payroll item. Help please!
How do I set my clients whose employes works different hourly rate? I need to do this in bulk as employees are around hundred each. (Using QB Advanced/ Bureau)
I cannot issue a payroll paper check to this employee who is listed as "Active" in payroll but as "deleted" in the QuickBooks system.
Our last paychecks covered the period 10/1/24-10/31/24. When I set up a monthly schedule with the 25th as the ending date QB shows the next pay period to be 10/26/24-11/25/24 which overlaps the last pay period.
Is anyone else having issues with payroll taxes being deducted and paid in correctly with the Online Full Service Payroll?
Good Morning -I'm self-employed and using QuickBooks online. For my last payroll of the year, I'd like to add solo 401k employee and employer contribution and I don't see on the categoriesAppreciate any assistance on this.I presume this needs to be done before end of the year?Thank you.
I ran a bonus check run (32 checks) and only 2 show up on my bank register.
Approximately 8 weeks ago, I migrated from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online Payroll. I receive several automated notifications after running payroll from the "QuickBooks Online Payroll" email account, confirming that the payroll ran, and what has been withdrawn for direct deposits, payroll tax payments, etc. Yesterday, I noticed that these emails started to include a new recipient (aside from myself, the company admin) at a Gmail address that is outside of my organization. I did not authorize this and I'm not sure which Intuit support team to contact regarding this issue. This is concerning, because now confidential payroll and tax information is being sent via email notification to an unidentified user/email account outside my organization. Wondering if anyone else using the QuickBooks Payroll Online is experiencing something like this, and/or which Support team I should be contacting to get resolved (e.g., Online Payroll Elite, Priority Circle, etc.).
I am closing down my corporation Dec. 31 2024. My CPA let me know that for payroll (using QB) I would need to let the IRS know that my business has closed on the 941 and make sure I elect that status. Can I do this in QuickBooks Online when I submit my final payroll payment for the year?
Why do I have random payroll checks not show up in my bank registry?
We paid employee out of operating account for a bonus, we had ADP figure up the taxes to take out of payroll acct. My owner cut the check not realizing this would be an issue but I let him know and all we can do is figure out how to fix this. ADP I am sure thought we were cutting the check out of the payroll acct and so they sent me the tax amount that would be deducted on the payroll acct journal. Now the journal shows he was paid out of the Payroll acct the full amount of the bonus but only the taxes really came out of the Payroll acct. How do I fix the payroll acct now as it shows he was paid out of it and not the operating account? Teresa
Told that I failed to file a prior year form 940
Company just started offering insurance. We use a 3rd party for payroll and I'm confused about which account to credit and debit with a journal entry that accurately represents the amounts. We pay the bill in full monthly and we deduct bi-monthly from employee paychecks. I've set up GL codes for dental / vision / health but do I debit those and then credit an account for insurance liability? Currently they are both set up as payroll liabilities so they are cancelling each other out on a balance sheet which doesn't seem correct at all. I've royally confused myself with this. When bill is paid it's a partial employer expense and then the rest would come from the withheld paycheck amount.
