I can't report my miles daily
I am using QB desktop contractor 2024. Each week after I run payroll, I go to pay liabilities and create the Federal (withholding, SS & Med) and state liability checks. I just created the 941 for the 3rd quarter and see that 2 of the liability amounts do not match our liability payments during the month of August. They do equal out, but am wondering why our liability payment would be different than the actual liability showing in the report when it is all generated by QB. I also had an issue with the last week's payroll in September with the liability payment being off two cents for SS and one cent for our 401k payment. At the time the liability checks are created there is a 0 balance afterwards. How can an overpayment show up a few days later? This is not a rounding issue as the balance is 0 immediately after the liability check is created.I was able to delete the 401k check and recreate it which took care of the problem as it has to match the deductions of our employees, but why
After returning from a business trip, two employees had left the company credit card as their default card on ride share apps. They both accrued personal trips on the company card in error. They both requested that I deduct the amount from their paycheck. What would be the easiest way to do this while being able to match the reimbursement to the expense.
Just upgraded from QB Desktop 2022 to 2024 ... when I try to access Employees (even though we no longer use QBooks PR) I get a message about updating PR files and then QB crashes. I checked for updates, installed everything I could find, and this still happens. I don't have to have a subscription to payroll to access Employees do I?
Can Profit & Loss Reports be modified to report payroll costs based on the pay period, rather than the pay date?
I am doing my Work Comp annual audit. How do I get a copy of my Quarterly 941 forms

I have to add an employee but don't have an ;add employee' button. What can I do?
I see discussions about displaying the employee/worker's name, per labor line item, in an extra column on invoices with QBO. I'm using QBD. Is this possible in QBD?
This is a tablet I never use for work.

Mileage tracking records nothing
Scheduled payroll for October 1st did not process yet. Everyday it tells next day it will process. I would like to know ther reason why. Thanks
I have looked at tutorials everywhere and they all say that I have this option in payroll online under settings payroll setting, and then export settings. I don't have anything under the payroll setting that changes how I can export. Currently my options are PDF and excel and neither are used in QuickBooks desktop.
I receive the following error when trying to E-file CA DE-9C payroll form:"CA UI QTD: Employee SSN is missing. Enter the employee's social security number or ITIN in Quickbooks Employee Set-up." Per the DE-9C instructions, "If someone does not have an SSN, report their name, wages, and/orwithholdings without the SSN and TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS TO SECURE ONE."The problem is QB does not allow the form to be e-filed with a missing SSN. This is new this quarter as previously this has been allowed,
Trying to use Bill Pay for the first time, I keep getting the error: "Payment can't be scheduled right now. We're working to fix this issue. Try again in a few minutes."Before you suggest it, yes, I have cleared my cache and cookies. I've tried it in both Firefox and Chrome. Anyone know of a fix? Related: In the Contractors tab there's a button called "Pay Contractors". There's a pair of contradicting messages on that page:I don't have QB Payroll, just QB Plus. Does that mean I can only pay bills to contractors via ACH Bill Pay, but not "direct deposit" on this Pay Contractor page?
missing years form 940 and 941 are 2017 to 2022
Hello community, My name is Ralph and we are running a small company with a small group of employees. We love quickbooks and used payroll desktop, what was perfect as it was fully integrated. QB did not allow us to continue with payroll desktop. so we had to switch to payroll online and downloading the account entries to QB desktop. Not ideal, not as slick as the fully integrated QB desktop solution, but still manageable. Quickbooks then made it looks like there is no QB desktop anymore (website only mentions subscriptions no desktop versions). We were not willing to lose our excellent accounting system QB, so we decided to give it a try to switch over to QB online. That's where our nightmare started. Online was sluggish, had no longer the "easy" feel of the QB system, and we could not understand why the new system would not use the well known and astablished QB desktop menu and format. So we decided not to go the QB online route and used the renewed QB desktop version and cancele
