I normally log in via Google but for the last few days it says "oops something's wrong" when I enter my details and password. If I reset my password do you think that might help or do you think there's something wrong with my settings. I can access via Micro Edge but apparently that's not ideal as some QB features don't work
hi i am currently using quick book self employed from last few years but want to change the plan to quick book simple start is it possible to change & transfer all the transaction from self employed to simple start. If it possible can you please explain how it is going to work.
Hi all,Have just started to use Quickbooks Self Assessment and all looks great but I am having trouble choosing what categories to use as they don't really match my business requirements. It seems to be set up more for retail/office based rather than builders or other trades. Is there anyone out there who can help me!?
HiI signed up for Making Tax Digital over a week ago. When I tried to set it up in Quickbooks I get an error message that reads 'The VAT accounting dates don't match up' (see the attached screenshot). Quickbooks seems to think the accounting date is one day later than the HMRC. I called the number on the error message but the guy on the helpdesk didn't seem to know much more than me about it. Eventually, after some discussion with colleagues, he told me that they were going to request an unfiling of previous VAT submissions with the HMRC. That, he said, should fix the problem within two or three days. We're coming to the end of the month when we need to submit our next VAT return. I would really like to get this sorted before then. Can anyone help?
Hi all So I am on the 10% FRS and quickbooks has (when pressing submit VAT return) calculated the 10% of my gross on all invoices and states that's what I owe in VAT. However, about a third of my invoices are to the Netherlands in the EU and these invoices don't have VAT on them (they are charged at 0.0% ECG). In box 8 of my return this amount (to the Netherlands) is registered but it still includes these invoices when calculating the 10% of my gross, hence it says I should be paying more VAT than I need to. At what point are those invoice to the Netherlands deducted from the overall 10%? Why isn't quickbooks doing this within the software?
How can I transfer an older QB Simplestart software (on a Windows XP machine) to a newer (Windows 7) computer? I do not have the original installation software, so will need a download for it. The version I have shows "Last license refresh in January 2007" which, sort of, dates it. I have the details of the Product and Licence information available... Help please ...
Quickbooks is creating blank Payroll cheques when the original has been deleted. This has put our trail balance out of balance! If i click 'view payments' I get nothing.Basically, I cannot trace, edit or delete this imaginary transaction.I need some help
Hi I have a QB online account with you as well as a self employed one can I merge the 2 together?
I'm a one person business and new to Quickbooks. Is it possible to see or set up a corporation tax forecast or progress year to date within one of the many reporting features in the software? Maybe a plugin or integrated partner app would do it also? Have spent a while searching for answers online only to draw a blank so far... Thanks in advance
I am using QBSE in the UK and purchase tools for use in my business only. These are generally low value items, what category best suits these purchases? Thanks
Hi All,I am in the UK. We used Quickbooks for our business accounts until we couldn't cope with only 5 users and had to change to Sage(Ugh). We used Quickbooks 2013, but I retained Quickbooks 2003 for my home accounts and investments. All was fine until my computer crashed and had to be rebuilt. I only have backups of my home accounts, but I can't reinstall Quickbooks 2003 in Windows 7 as it tells me stlport_r50.dll is missing. I've tried reinstalling 2003 and 2006, but get the same reult. Any ideas?Kind regards, David
