Hello, we are have an invoices for different customers and all the time when we are making a product we need to print 3 different templates for 1 transaction. We have an invoice template, packing slip and proof of manufacturing. And it takes a lot of time when we need to print all 3 pages for 150+ transactions. Can we do it in 1 click or could we merge this 3 different template into 1 and print all 3 pages together?i tried to find some information about it, but I can’t. Thanks. We are using quickbooks desktop 2019.
Hi, I am trying to migrate from very old V8 QuickBooks desktop to cloud. It's very hard to find the trial versions of QuickBooks desktop 2002 UK version. Contacted support and they said they don't support it as it's so old. Is there anyway someone has a link to the 2002 UK trial version which would be the first stepping stone for migration from V8? I found some trial versions online but that was for Australia and US. I read that you have to go from V8 - 2002 - 2005 - 2008 and so on. Any help is much appreciated. Many Thanks, Matt
Hi all We migrated from QB desktop 2002 to QBO. Due to various things QBO hasn't been used yet. We migrated successfully in June. Now need to get data from June to today over. Last year, our IT guy was able to get a 30 day trial to convert our 2002 file to 2006 first then to 2009. Move my books need the 2009 format. The IT guy can't find trials for 2006 and 2009 now and I've already purged!!! Does anyone know where we could get a free trial of those versions just to convert the backup file? Thanks, Siobhan
I want rid of quickbooks due to lack of being able to speak to someone
I am looking into using the Fixed Asset Register tool in Quickbooks Advanced, but can't tell if this tool is available in the UK version?Add and manage Fixed Assets in QuickBooks Online Advanced (intuit.com)
Am I understanding correctly? HMRC will accept a tax period from 1st April - 31st March? Its called 'Late accounting date rules'. I am asking because QuickBooks Online only lets me set start date beginning of month, so using the Late accounting date rules would be useful.
I created an invoice using Add Product or Service, and did it in the order that I wanted, but when I email it to clients it ends up in a different order, but I can't work out why. I have tried it both on the website and the app, and it's the same. Any ideas?
Hello, My client wants to use a cashflow/forecasting tool and I know QB is withdrawing theirs. My client has certain suppliers that are paid by BAC's and others that are paid by credit card. QB would just put all due invoices into the planner and the bank account, this would mean amending them or even deleting. For instance if AA Ltd has a due date of 31st March its picked up in the cashflow for that date from the bank, but we always pay them via credit card and equally receive another 30 days 'credit'. Is there an app that we can link to QB that will show all the bank / credit cards and allow us to allocate a supplier to that payment method and then look at each one independently? Thank you in advance
Whenever I go to the community it always defaults to the US, and when I switch to the UK I get a validation error. Every now and again I can actually get access to the UK community but it is infrequent. I have to say, QBO makes it incredibly hard to self serve!
How can I install my non-subscription QBD licence on a different machine - the installation asks for an activation code but there is nowhere to go to get a code. The 0[removed] number is a waste of time and the normal QBO support are not able to help.
The invoices my clients receive are all sent associated with an old email address of mine. I have changed all contact details to my new address but this has not updated the invoices that get sent out. So clients are replying to my old address. No where on the site can I see my old email address to be able to change it to the new one so I am completely at a loss as to how to change it and why this is happening. Thanks
We have recently closed a bank account in a foreign currency; the Bank reconciliation (which is in the non-sterling amount) always balanced, and Chart of accounts showed nil balance in the account (in the non-sterling currency) on the date the account was closed / date of last transaction. Then my accountant, noticed a remaining GBP balance in this account but in Trial Balance. I have meticulously been posting each transaction in this foreign currency bank account to correspond to the correct FX daily rate in the home currency (based on our bank rates and not Quickbook rates) so I do not understand why there is a remaining GBP ££ value in this account in Trial Balance, when Chart of Accounts showing nil $$. The accountant posted a journal to clear the GBP amount from the Trial Balance (since the account is empty and now closed) but now this GBP amount is in Chart of accounts, which is no longer nil $$.Anyone has any explanation what may have happened there? Where does the difference co
qb has stopped recommended matches for payments. the account is link to bank account.
Hi, Im trying to import a custom form style I have made in Word, but when I follow the methods on the QBO tutorials the options are not available to me. I have the plus version of quickbooks online. There is no option in the quick books lab to enable importing styles and on the custom form styled page when i click new style the import option isnt there. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Folks Does anyone have any information about how Intuit are technically planning to switch off access to our accounts packages? I understand that QuickBooks Desktop Pro will be read only from 30 June 2023 but does anyone know how they will implement this? Given how few emails they have sent warning of this event (just three that I am aware of), will it leave hundreds of less vigilant companies stranded without access to their accountancy systems from 1 July 2023?! I know it's their right as a business to make decisions like this but it seems totally irresponsible and possibly open to litigation to me. Has anyone any further thoughts?
