My colleague recently cleaned and started over the Chart of Accounts for our organisation. Now when she runs a report like the BVA (budget versus Actual) figures are in two currencies. In the reports, staff salaries appear in Uganda Shilling and other accounts in USD (which is the base currency). This messes up all balances and reports. What can she do?Note that all transactions are posted in Uganda shillings. What can she do?

If I delete an invoice from a prior year, will it make the adjustment for the revenue in the current year?

Hi,My home currency is EUR and I have 1 bank account which only allows payments made in EUR (note that this bank account is not connected to QB so I make all transactions manually).I received a supplier bill in SEK. As I cannot pay this supplier in SEK due to my bank's account restrictions, I have paid this supplier in EUR. As suggested in one of the articles on QB Help Centre, I have created a dummy SEK account in QB which I used to 'pay' the bill with in QB. However, as the exchange rate changed between the date of receiving the bill and the date of paying the bill, an exchange gain or loss is incurred.In my case, the SEK weakened, which means that the EUR amount that was recognised upon receipt of the bill was higher than the one upon payment and therefore an exchange loss should be recorded. I have two companies for example ABC and 123. I was not involved in the initial set up. However, with the help of QuickBooks support I linked the two different bank accounts, the financial reports for each of the two companies are combines in one report together under the ABC company. I need to provide individual reports for each company ie. Balance sheets, profit and loss. Previously I used QuickBooks Desktop and the companies I set as two separate entities which generated individual reports. Several discussions have occurred with QuickBooks online support however my situation is not resolved.I would appreciate any ideas.

Hi, Can 2 US QuickBooks licenses be used to maintain one for posting US books and another for Non-US (Asian countries) posting books? How does multi currency is address along other country specific statutory compliance wrt to taxes. Please suggest pros and cons along with any risks. Unable to export existing online QB data
I am using Garage Plug Inc a third party app to import invoices and expenses from it to Quick Books. But since January 2023 the data is not syncing since quick books subscription expired. But yesterday on 10 April 2023 I renewed the subscription. but the data is still not syncing. I contacted 3rd party app technical team they said the data is stuck at Quick Books end.
Someone at QB changed the memo line with ALL of the customer information in it to now pull the credit card number instead....WE ALREADY KNOW WHAT THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER IS. i called and complaine. They said they would investigate. I got an email saying they werent going to change it back. This is UNACCEPTABLE. The memo line had EXTREMELY VALUABLE information in it BEFORE. SOMEONE CHANGED THIS and NEEDS TO CHANGE IT BACK. You might as well take out the customer jobs because I CANNOT post my expenses to them anymore !!!!!!!!! Which means QB NO LONGER WORKS FOR ME !!! I called American Express when this happened and the top exec told me that they NEVER CHANGED ANYTHING ON THEIR END. I saw a customer request on your public website asking if someone could make the memo space have the credit card number. So someone from QB decided that would be a great idea AND CHANGED IT. I currently have a personal bank account and a business bank account with Revolut bank. I am a small business owner and I want to be able to access both my personal and business bank account interchangeably on my QBO account. Ive read that QBO is only for business accounts and so you cannot download your personal bank account information.But I was wondering if there is a way to do it through, separately downloading QBSE and then linking my personal bank information on that and then somehow integrating and transferring my personal bank account info to my QBO business account....?Because I've just started my small business( Cafe/deli) ,at the moment , I often interchangeably use my personal bank account to pay for some of my business expenses.. and would like to be able to track all my expenses properly in one place. I was wondering why none of my bank transactions and bank balances has downloaded and shown up on my QBO account yet? Does it usually take 24 hours for it to download? Also, I am trying to link my SQAURE account to my QBO, as well, but it says:"Your Square connection is coming soon. We can't connect you to Square just yet."Would this be because it can only process, download and validate one bank connection/information at a time?Thank you so much for all your help!
