"Help" says to change setting under advanced so I can hit "enter" instead of "tab" to switch fields and I should check box next to "use enter go..." but that option is not there under advanced under settings.

This is not a question but rather a plea for people to give "Feedback" to Intuit regarding migration from QBD to QBO.Intuit just announced that as of July 31, 2024, all QBD users MUST become part of the subscription model. Which might be okay, except we have converted many of our clients and we convert only the last 2 years of data bc it's a mess if you try to do more and then do the cleanup that most of these folks require. Our clients, until now, have been able to access their "old" QB Data in their "old" QB Desktop. They need to be able to do this, in some cases in order to serve their customers (my client has to look up warranty and parts info) and in general, if they are audited, they need to go back to their QBD. I just converted a very complex client data set and she couldn't get access to her QBD without first having a subscription to QBD 2024. So now she has to pay for this in addition to her (expensive) QBO subscription? No way. So I learned that QBD from 2023
Greetings! Reaching out for guidance on the "proper" way to create and manage Customers in QBO. We have a dozen customers that are subs of a Parent company. We created a Parent and set up the individual companies as subs of the Parent. When services are provided to the individual companies some are invoiced directly while others are invoiced to another entity under the Parent (one we provide no services, one in which a Customer account was not created.) What is the "proper" way to set up the Customers such that we see the revenue associated with the subs, rolled up to the parent, and the individual subs invoiced to the proper entities?
Hello. I am taking the QB course and have the Premier Acc 2019 version.I'm trying to download a QBW file my teacher sent but it is downloading as a PDF. Someone else was able to dl it correctly so I'm not sure what it's not working for me. Any idea why and any suggestions would help as I need to complete this course to pass. Thank you.

I have a client I have remote access of the 2023 QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and today I got a Warning stating "The system Theme settings have changed. You much restart your application to apply those setting." My client has restarted the computer 2 times and I'm setting getting the same issue my computer. How can this be fixed? I can't even see the desktop. Once I close out of the 2 Warning boxes, all I have is a black screen and no toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

We need some solution for this issue since the situation is getting worse where the user does not see the transactions enter before the abort and have to input the data again to later discover that there are duplicate transactions creating a double work and waste of time. It seems like it works better with Windows 10, is that is the case QuickBooks need to make some changes to fix the issue.We have tried everything it was advised by Quick Books, but problem continue. I also want to clarify that the problem continues with 2023 version.

When creating a new invoice, the previous method would be that the invoice opens and the customer field would be active with the cursor. Now one must click once or twice in the customer field to enter a name. This is similar to a change in entering line items. Previously one would click in the item field and start typing an item name. Now one must click twice in the field to be able to make the field active. Please, please, please stop changing things for the sake of change. Stop adding steps to my workflow.

Hi guys, I am trying to bulk add service items from Excel into the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries window. From all the videos ive watched, people are able to copy a large amount of data in Excel and simple paste it into this window. However when I copy a couple of lines in Excel, it only pastes the first cell into the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries window?? All the other copied cells just vanish.Any ideas? Thanks!
Hello team, We have a couple of customers asking of how to remove a promotion website that open itself when they login on quickbooks desktop, this is happening more on Enterprise than on the rest of editions, so does anyone knows how to remove that?I tried to go on edit - preferences - general and turn off promotions on quickbooks desktop but that didn't work, can anyone help me? i would really appreciate it.
