Hi Everyone, I would like to ask if there is a way I can do customization for how the discount is calculated on the Invoice.So I need to add a columns for the different type of discount after each Product, instead of at the moment the discount is a subtotal of all on the row. I tried playing around with this but cant figure our how. Or does QuickBook provide a service to customize invoice template beyond what is the common one?Thank you

Hello, I have a customer who is going to pay $100,000 upfront to give us some working capital as we are a new business. The plan is instead of charging them for invoices, we will use their invoice amounts as loan payments until the loan is paid off. Once we hit that point, we will begin charging them again. When it comes to the books, how do I record the $100,000 and then deduct from that loan every time we invoice them? When it comes to those invoices, we will also want to mark them as paid so it is considered revenue that we need to pay sales tax on. How do I go about marking them as paid from that $100,000 loan?
Is there a way to see price or cost history of an item? I have one vendor that changes the pricing every single time I place a PO with them, so I'd like to be able to see a history of those changes.

I recently experienced reconciliation issues with my quick books online account for my business. That has happened a few times in the past and the folks on the quick books help line have been able to assist me get the account correct. This time when I asked for help via the Help button, someone called me back and then after looking at the issue, transferred me to a person that told me I had a corrupted database. I thought this was strange since the database is hosted by Intuit/Quickbooks. I asked many questions and all the person wanted to do was charge me $500 to fix the database or $750 to have an annual plan to fix the database when it gets corrupted in the future. We declined his offer to fix the database and using the help button asked for a call back again. The new customer support person explained that this was a scam. Has anyone else experienced this? I am new to QuickBooks online. I recently became treasurer if an HOA and QuickBooks was transferred to me from the previous administrator. The previous administrator paid $995 every 5 years to "Quickbooks" for database management services. He told me that was due again and that someone wold be calling me. I received a call from someone who told me the billing was indeed due, but told me the email would be from HBooks and that they were part of, or a separate department from QuickBooks. He asked to charge a card. I gave him a Discover card number, which he said Discover would not take as they were no longer a "partner" with HostBooks, or HBooks. So I gave my debit card number. I received a fraud text message question from my banks and said that I recognized the charge. They are also to provide other services. I don't track my travel on the app as I'm mostly in and out of signal and the app is on my tablet and I'm not taking that everywhere with me.I would like to manually input the km of each trip into the app, is that possible?

Kind of shocked how many bugs I've run into with the current version (V23.0.2 R3 Build 518), and I'm frankly kind of insulted that it's no longer possible to buy permanent licenses when longstanding bugs and poor interface performance (many of these have been around since at least 2014). Just had a reproducible bug that beach-ball's the application. Having a split open in a register that does *not* have enough transactions to require a scroll bar, and recording the transaction, will beachball the application completely. Closing the split and recording behaves properly. Could be related, though I've never figured out what triggers it, to a very annoying bug that redraws registers where the columns are temporarily mis-set so that only "Payment" and "Deposit" are visible, but "Balance" is either completely out of the window or partially draws past the window's bounds - scrolling in the register resets it, but this regularly happens to me when I'm doing things that are not

Hi all, Looking for some community assistance. We have a client that uses QuickBooks Desktop and Fishbowl Inventory for QuickBooks. Almost daily there is some issue, requiring a restart of the computer or killing off Fishbowl and opening QuickBooks to dismiss some modal dialog box. Fishbowl server can run as a service or as a interactive server application from the desktop. However the service cannot work with QuickBooks so the computer has to be running logged in. I'm not sure what the point of the service is. Their product support doesn't seem to know either. Is there any kind of inventory software that can integrate with QuickBooks that doesn't have to run in an interactive login (IMO really poor programming and security vulnerability) and won't puke if QuickBooks is prompting for an update or that someone is logged in or whatever silly thing is getting in the way of the integration.
I have QuickBooks Online, and I turn on the sales tax by mistake. I am needing to turn sales tax off. I have one sales invoice that has been paid. I know that I need to un-reconcile the invoice, delete the payment and delete the invoice that shows the sales tax before I can turn the sales tax off. The question that I have is that I have estimates in the system that have not been turn into invoices yet. Will I have to delete all estimates and PO's before I can turn off the sales tax or can I just delete the one invoice and payment turn sales tax off and then re-invoice and apply payment.
How do I change a credit card credit to an expense without having to delete it and start over
I have QB enterprise soulutions V22. the black icon bar will not stay hidden. each time I start QB the icon bar is back even though hide icon bar is checked. I have to check top icon bar then hide icon bar and it stays hidden till I shut QB down and reboot it. this has been an issue on and off for a long time (years) and at times was fixed then a new update will cause the same issue. Please fix this Bug. Bill
I have tried several times over the past two weeks to change a credit card connection with Chase Bank in QB so that I can download transactions, etc. The chase connection has worked for years and two of my cards with them connect fine. One card was recently reissued and I cannot get the change to be accepted by QB.I have been on the phone with QB support and Chase Bank. Intuit makes the connection and sees the changes and even puts up a blurb saying everything is fine. QB, however, has an issue and will not see or accept the changes from intuit.Needless to say that after being ripped off for more than double the annual QB fee, QB doesn't perform.
Is there a way to remove the 'suggested transaction' from my screen every time I do a new invoice and it comes up on the right side of the screen?
