Hello,I used my business credit card (connected to QB) to purchase a personal item.On 12/13/20, I recorded the transaction in the business credit card by entering $967.68 as a charge using the category of Expense Owner's Pay & Personal Expenses. I made three payments to pay off the amount charged on 12/13. When I made the payments to the credit card, I wrote checks from my personal checking account which is not connected to QB.How should I now record these payments, or is there a way to make an adjustment transaction to get my business credit card to reconcile? I realize that a better way to do it would be to deposit the amount of the payment from my personal checking account into the business checking account, and then making the payment to the credit card from the business checking account.I'm using QB Online for Mac. iOS Mojave 10.14.5Thank you
Can I access the expired (??) 1099 link without bothering my client to send another one?
This is the message I receive when opening my qb file - The file you specified cannot be opened. Make sure that it is not currently being used by another program or a read only file The windows error is The system cannot find the path specified - if you keep pressing "ok" it advances to 100% and the file opens but it's irritating to have to do that each and every time

But his bill was entered into our QuickBooks Online last year (2023), so it is already reflected in our reports.How can we do the right thing with this bill so that it is not in Accounts Payable, but without making changes to our records for last year

Is there a way to have my category list displayed in a stand along page to which I might edit, delete or create new like I was able to do when I used Quicken for 20 years? I was persuaded to enroll in QBs online be cause it was to be so much easier. I'm in my 3rd month and I am not happy....
I just created an account and when I log in, the very first page states that "quickbooks cannot find the page you requested." I have tried to open it from a private browser as well as clearing my history, cache, and DNS. None of these things have worked. I have attempted to open the help tab and go to the 'chat with us' option however the 'help' tab is blank. Not a great start quickbooks! What am I supposed to do at this point to try and access the account and add invoices, etc.

My space bar will not work when typing a description in an invoice. It acts as a tab instead and moves to another field. This occurs online as well as when I use the app.
Hi community, has anyone else seen this problem while using Workflows?If I designate a particular branch of a workflow based upon the name of the vendor submitting the bill. If a vendor named X submits a bill, then a separate approval process applies vs. other vendors. I have in front of me (with screenshots) an example where the name of the vendor in the dropdown does not match the name in the list of Vendors (Expenditures/Vendors). The dropdown list of vendors in workflows contains the name X' (vendor name with a small difference), rather than the name X which is in the vendors list. To be clear, the name X' does not appear in the list of vendors. Example: "Robert C Smith" is a vendor in the vendor list. in workflows, the name "Robert C Smith" does not appear in the vendor name dropdown, but the name "Robert Smith" does appear in the dropdown. From a bill submitted in workflow today, it appears that the naming difference impacted the approval process (the bill for "Robert Smith"
Are we going to be required to use QuickBooks online for payroll starting May 1st? I am a CPA doing multiple payrolls and some of my clients would not be willing or able to pay the costs of QuickBooks online.
Terms of my lease allows me to pay every third month, but rent is invoiced/accrued every month. I use cash accounting method and I do not want record an expense every month, but when my payment to the landlord is actually made.1) I want to increase my rent liability account every 1st day of the month.2) Later, once I pay the rent (could be 2 or 3 months later) I want to record rent payment as an expense and decrease lability account.How I can do it?

I have three estimates for the same customer and they have sent me one PO for all three estimates. I want to merge the three estimates into one sales order. Is this possible in Quickbooks Desktop?
I use the free "Time Entries" feature on QBO to record what kind of work my employees do one what projects. When they select the type of service they have done that day, these see ALL of the services I have ever used to create an estimate. A lot of the services I put on estimates, are for things that I have Subcontractors do and I don't want my employees to have the option to accidentally select these (vs the services we provide that are coded to WC codes). Is there any way I can limit the list of services my employees can choose from when logging their time in QBO?
