I have switched from desktop to online. I could print my logo on check next to business name and also the signature. Can I do this with online quickbooks?
My client's process involves Sales Orders which can convert to Multiple Invoices as they are using QB Desktop Manufacturer edition (2016). Remote access is presenting security issues, and they're considering moving to QB Online. As my research indicates, there's no accommodation for Sales Orders in QB Online. What are some creative solutions for this, or am I mistaken? They absolutely need to be able to enter Sales Orders that can be invoiced later. Thanks!
I have a client that purchase an upgrade to Desktop Enterprise 2023. The client purchased a Multi-user version but for some reason I keep getting asked to log out so payroll can be processed. Is that typical? Now I'm trying to get into the clients QBD and a pop-up comes up stating that "QuickBooks is unable to open this company file. It may have been opened by another user." Why is this coming up if it's a Multi-user version? Thank you
I was able to manage TT desktop and QBSE under one intuit account, however I had Chase account connection issues that are still investigated by intuit. I decided to create a new QBSE online and no connection issues now. I want to continue to use this account and to transfer QBSE online data to TurboTax Home & business desktop version. Can explain how to do that? And would there be any issues transferring data with two different user accounts that is not linked?
Do you need to split the transactions into biz & personal in quickbooks online before you transfer data to TurboTax home & business desktop? or should I leave it as personal transaction and figure out the deduction in the TurboTax? For exmple, home office utilities and mortgage interests and so on.

My company uses an ERP system called Epicor/BisTrack. This system manages all Inventory and AR transactions via journal entry upload. When this system went live, I was told by the implementation team to create a second AR account under Other Current Assets; then credit each open invoice in the AR account in QBO to move open invoices to the new account on the Balance Sheet so that the QBO AR account is $0.00. All AR is housed within Epicor/Bistrack. We have decided to terminate our contract with Epicor/BisTrack and now I am trying to figure out how to get our open AR out of the Epicor AR account and back into the Accounts Receivable (A/R) account on the balance sheet. The problem is, I need the AR transactions to age correctly for our Line of Credit with the bank and I don't want to affect COGS as it has all been accounted for. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

I read a post saying that you just exclude the transaction, but I only see a way to exclude it from the transactions. I guess I am fine just excluding it but why would a deposit show up as spending in the transaction tabs in the first place? For reference, the deposit was a check deposited into the bank account, and hasn't fully cleared the bank yet at the time of posting this. This is my first deposit made while on this platform so is this something that will have to be done for all deposits?

The 1099-nec that is produced by QB does not include the Copy 1 or 2 be filed with the state. How do you do this now that all 1099 must be filed electronically?
Trying to access my paystubs and W2s from my last employer. Everything was done through Quickbooks; however, when I login it states 'We didn't find any companies for this account.' I'm using the credentials I used when employed.
I am trying to figure out if I can use Projects to track events. At these events we have income from more than one customer. Is it possible to record those sales receipts to the one project for the event? If not, is there a better recommended way to track income and expenses for an invent (other than classes as we are already using those otherwise)?
Excel, Outlook and the web browser keep crashing when I log into QB 2022 desktop.If I have excel, Outlook or a web page open and try to log into QB they will close and not save any data that i have added. When I get to the screen where you enter your password and I am concurrently working in Excel, Outlook or adding information into a web page some or all of them will close and not save any data that was entered. While i am waiting for the password to go through and QB to open I often do some work in those other programs and if I do the work when QB is "thinking" QB just crashes the other programs. This is happening not just to me but others in my office as well but nor everybody. We have tried uninstall and reinstall of QB and the MS Office Suite and nothing seems to work. Any other Suggestions??
I have a case where my estimate shows three line items as not invoiced, but they were invoiced two invoices ago. I noticed that in the invoice the line item said "Service" instead of Construction Labor. I have gone in and modified that invoice to reflect Construction Labor and I did a refresh. Unfortunately that did not correct the estimate and it is still showing that it has not been invoiced. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you!
I'm new to company and we use quickbooks enterprise. A couple of simple questions I need help on as I'm taking over for someone previous to me. 1) we are not in the snack machine business however we do have a snack machine for our employees to purchase snacks. Previous recordings of cash deposits from the snack machine were in chart of accounts "Fixed Asset" called Snack Machine under Office Equipment. I don't think this is right. What chart of account should we be depositing the cash into? Maybe other Income?2) Previous person left a lot of "zero" dollar amount transactions in reconciliation for a number of years. Since these are "zero" dollar amounts, I can select and get rid of them on my next reconciliation without causing any problems to the month...correct?
I am running Quickbooks Desktop 2021. I usually have the option to print different copies of the 1099. This year, I only have the option to print 1096 and 1099 Copy A which goes to the IRS and has to be e-filed since I have more than 10 contractors/employees. I do not have the option to print Copy B for the recipient and would like to go ahead and give those out while working on learning to E-file this year. Any suggestions?
There's a lot to be said about customer service. It can make or break your business. The customer service provided by QuickBooks is the MOST HORRIFIC I've EVER EXPERIENCED. IF YOU'RE SMART, YOU'LL FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO DO YOU'RE BUSINESS WITH!!!!I, AS A BOOKKEEPER, WILL NEVER RECOMMEND QUICKBOOKS AGAIN!!!! IN FACT, I'M GOING TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO PICK ANOTHER ACCOUNTING PROGRAM FROM A COMPANY THAT JUST MIGHT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT IT'S CUSTOMERS.THAT'S 22 YEARS DOWN THE DRAIN INTUIT!! Hello!We use a third party piece of software for quoting and inventory management and it is able to produce invoices in QBO for us. This is an incredible integration however, the invoice numbers across platforms do not sync properly. We don't require that they are in sync but QBO automatically picks up the invoicing number scheme after an invoice is issued from the other platform. Example:The current invoice number in QBO is 2045 and the platform is setup to issue the next invoice as CMS-1125. The invoice posts to our transaction page with the appropriate number and the last QBO invoice is also correct. However, if I create an invoice from QBO for services not billed through the third party QBO follows the platform naming scheme and creates an invoice with the number CMS-1126. This would be fine in theory except for the API communication is only one way. The platform doesn't see that there's been an increase in the number counter and we'll start getting duplicate numbers in Q

Does anyone else have issues with massively oversized logo in the body of their invoice e-mail. I saw a solution in August that recommended to revert back to the old invoice template but this option is no longer available. It looks terrible. I am able to remove logo from my invoice form so it won't be in the body of the e-mail but this seems like unsatisfactory solution. Kim
