As far as I can see, I would have to set the copier up as a user!
How can I set an employee up who has a pension scheme which is NOT a workplace pension scheme? My colleague and I are company directors and we both hold Self Invested Pensions (SIPPs) since these are cheap and convenient. It is most text efficient to contribute to the SIPP directly (therefore avoiding NI contributions) but I am not sure how to set this up on Quickbooks. Is this possible?

Currently shows accrual so I have to manually work out exactly where I'm up to. I heard you can toggle but I don't see how.
I need to manually convert it to GBP from other currency while processing bill from qbodoc. How this can be automated?
Employee was marked as a leaver on 11/03/2024. Yet, the P45 is yet to show up on the Documents tab.
Hope this is in the right place! I'm certainly no accountant... Just encountered a new problem with QBO when importing invoices / bills to 'Bills'. The suppliers PDF's are uploading, all information is reviewed and added as needed and then submitted in the usual way.The information appears to be accepted fine but, when I return to see if it's been added to the 'Unpaid' section, it isn't listed (checked 'For Review' as well - no joy). The invoices/bills do show up in the suppliers own transaction list but not listed in the Bills overview page?It was fine until last week and the problem is occurring on two different pc's in separate locations (not even in the same building). Just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong or if anyone else has had this problem and solved it? It's great feature to have and just hoping Intuit haven't fiddled about with it or are preparing to remove it. Sorry if it's been asked before, but I've looked and I'm probably being thick! Thank
sales invoices showing both status but seem same type of invoice
I have been receiving emails from "xxxxxx@xx.xxxxxx.xxx" regarding bank date now being shared. I do not work for the company in the emails and don't know why I am receiving this!!?? I contacted support who advised they could not do anything about this.
I resubmitted my VAT Return in quickbooks but the error message did not disappear so i did the following: Logged in the the Goverment Gateway Account using my ID & Password, checked the VAT return had been submitted correctly. Then i marked the re-submitted VAT return as "Marked as filed" Quickbooks does not give you any message that your VAT submission has been successful so I checked the status of my VAT return in my Goverment Gateway Account before selecting the "Marked as filed" option. I have two companies in the Isle of Man and I would like to use Quickbooks. Is it possible to set it up using the UK QBO version? I cannot set it up as I don't have UK address and it does not accept IOM address. We need the GBP version. Thank you. Inga
Can we have different invoices with different invoice message for each invoice template?We have different sets of customers we want to give different payment details hence we would need to bill using a different invoice layout. This will only make sense if we can put the unique banking details for each invoice template.Please let me know.
I am an events business and I create balloon displays, incorporating items that I hire out to customers. My question is, if I buy new items into my business, that will then go on to be used by me to hire out to my customers, what category should I list the receipts in for these items. Another example of this, I hire light up numbers from a local company, and sell that hire onto my own customers, so I will take a small amount as an arrangement fee, but the majority of what I take is to cover the hire of the item. When that company send me an invoice, what should I categorise that as?
QB Self Employed - can I edit connected bank account names to differentiate transactions?I have 2 accounts with the same bank and transactions from both account import as "Personal - Current" meaning I can't differentiate between the two.

Good afternoon Quickbooks After using quickbooks online for a few years now, I would like to make some suggestions about how QB could make inputting of expenses and bills much more time efficient for users - particularly those with large numbers of line items. These comments would also be true for using the Invoicing form too. 1. Column Fill Down - For example when I have a large number of chargeable line items to input from an expense or Bill, I have to click in and search the drop down list for both the Category/Product/Service and for the Customer/Project. I then have to individually select the correct choice for each and every line item. If I have a large number of similar line items and/or are chargeable to the same customer then this is VERY tedious. A fill down feature where, for example, you could fill in the first row and then drag down to fill the cells below with the same information would be really helpful and intuitive. 2. Copy and paste into QB from a table
Hello I have an open invoice for £72. The payment was made by cheque. The cheque and another one for £200 were both paid into the bank at the same time showing a payment into the bank of £272. In QB there is a 'Payment' for £272 but it wasn't linked to the invoice for £72. I don't want to delete the invoice but how can I match the £272 payment to the outstanding invoice without unbalancing QB. Thank youIan
