If a client buys product excluding VAT and later adds a procurement fee. If they are not VAT registered, how do they tax this?Client buys products including VAT and wants to pass this cost on to the client. How do they handle this if they are not VAT registered? How is the profit calculated for VAT included pricing vs. for VAT excluded pricing? This would be for clients that are not VAT registered.Client is unsure whether to select VAT included or excluded.. What determines this? What are rules for pros that are not VAT registered? Do they not charge tax to the client but pay VAT when they purchase? How is markup tax handled?
Greetings! Since yesterday, I can't match the banking transactions to the bills. An error occurred when I tried to match the bills. And I used "Resolving transactions" to record the bank charges. I'm pretty much sure I did it correctly. But I can't save it. When I try to save it, it always occurs the error "An unexpected failure occurred.". Please find the attached screenshots; Can anyone help me to fix this? As I think it should be a bug in QuickBooks. I appreciate any help you can provide.
Using app on iPad and now invoicing is small and difficult to use
I am using daily sales to record clients (restaurant) sales and it works great. I am stuck though on how to get rid of "tips payable" my client pays through payroll, not cash. Can you please advise on a method.
Ahhh doesn’t matter. I’m so worn out dealing with this connection issue. Now I can’t find the delete function for this comment. I done 😴
I get a notification at random times during the day and night. I just want it to stop.
I really don’t know what direction Intuit are thinking with the redesign of the phone/tablet app. Other than the profit and loss chart which is straight from the Desktop version, the rest of it is pretty useless. No stock control, in fact you can’t see any stock. You can’t even send a customer a statement. I just worry in the direction of Quickbooks in general. So I just don’t get it, what is the point of it? Why is Intuit investing time and energy into something that’s a waste of time and effort? Don’t even read the app reviews…
The goal here is to go into a given expense from the P&L, say Advertising, and then within that transaction report, group the items by Vendor. This gives me a bunch of different subtotals for each vendor within a given expense category. However, I am encountering an issue with some accounts where this group by dropdown does not exist or is blank and cannot be changed. Even when I go to do the same thing from the customize report option it just doesn't really have what I need and I cannot figure out what's different about the accounts to make this happen. I have created new reports from scratch on the standard reports page and it still does not allow me to Group by at all. I can work around it and get the information I need with some manual totals but it's pretty frustrating to have something like this work for some accounts and be really easy, but then just doesn't for other accounts for no visible reason. Using QuickBooks Online Accountant View (not

I am getting Error message 324 which means my clients accounts are not supported by open banking feeds. I am aware of the options to import statements into quickbooks however my clients are not happy having to do this with multiple credit card accounts and deposit accounts it is time consuming. Per the online community information HSBC open banking feeds are available however this just appears to be for current accounts. So I would like to know when accounts other than just current accounts are going to be available via the open banking feeds? Also if they are not going to be available any time soon is there a way to go back to the old bank feeds which worked?
I've merged bank statement information with QB Self Employed. I'm now going through each individual transaction assigning it a category and rule. Under what 'category' do I allocate any transaction from my business account to my personal account ie wage I pay myself?
A feature has disappeared and I’m not sure if its meant to be that way or that my iOS app has a glitch. Until recently when I applied a payment to an invoice the option was there to then email that paid invoice to my client. The option has now gone, meaning I have to go back and find the paid invoice to send it to my clients. Makes no sense to have removed the option to send it at the point where the payment was applied and saved.
Hi all, hoping for some advice if possible please- for Quickbooks Online software integration. I oversee the payment run for multiple companies under the same umbrella, but set up in different Quickbooks. Come payment run time I am downloading the agreed creditors for each company & collating together in excel which is then approved before being set up manually in the bank. This process can be quite time consuming. After speaking to a QB's advisor there isn't anything on the software that can help with streamlining this process, so I was wondering whether anybody was able to recommend any other QB's compatible software that could help? Also, is anybody able to suggest any programmes that will help with reporting for multiple companies into a single report? Thank you in advance,Bryony
