I have a customer that has different locations, so they are separated out in QuickBooks Online. One of the locations as a overpayment on the books and I need to apply the deposit received to the other customers. How can I do this?Example of money received:1st Location as a credit balance of ($3,000.00)1st Location paid invoice for $1,931.762nd Location paid invoice $238.783rd Location paid invoice $2,153.96Net Deposit of $1,324.50 How can I applied this payment received?
My bank statement and reconciliation reports match but my trial balance is way off for the bank accounts. I recently took over for someone who left in Oct 2021 and started from there, one account looks like all 3 never matched and the other matches in May 2020 but everything is locked up until Jan 2021. How do I locate the issue? And how do I resolve it? Please help.

Yesterday I noticed that this view doesn't fit the page anymore and the vertical grid lines are missing. Now I need to scroll to see everything I used to be able to see all at once. What is the process for revising an invoice that is based on an estimate? I my situation, sometimes I need to revise the number of hours worked. This will happen after I've prepared the invoice and the customer has made changes. The invoice has not yet been submitted. On invoices prepared from estimates, the software does not allow me to change the quantity, only the cost. What is the correct procedure?

It's not appropriate to notify ME (the accountant) every time one of my clients pays their employees. It could almost be considered a breach of privacy. Perhaps I should report Intuit to the Privacy Commissioner?

Hi! I have an employee which currently enters his hours as a user but also has an employee profile (his name is written differently in both places) I would like to know if I can merge them together? I would like to keep access to the reports of his worked hours while having him show up as an employee and not just a user. Thanks!

I collect and submit PST in British Columbia. When I submit my PST I am able to claim up to $22.00 as a filing commission. This is recorded on the PST Filing page as an adjustment in Box C. When I processed my PST filing in QBDT, the adjustment was recorded in my PST Filing Commission income account as a positive value. However, when I make the same adjustment in QBO, the income is recorded as a negative value.I am in the process of reviewing my Fiscal Year End P&L, and find that my income has been reduced by the amount of my filing commission. I need to know how to resolve this (ie: record the income as positive), and i need to know how to fix the problem so that the income is recorded properly.
I have a couple of item receipts that were not used when entering the bill. These item receipts are from prior months that have been closed. How can I reverse the item receipts in a current month?
