I'm using QB desktop Everytime I open QB it changes my display resolution on my entire laptop. I have to reset every time.Any thoughts on how to stop this?
According to WSBC I don't owe anything. Now QB has recorded the payment, but it's invalid as far as I can tell.
A customer has paid there invoice by credit card but it has not showed up in my bank account
We operate is USD and CAD but do not have a posted exchange rate,$1.00 is $1.00 whether in CAD or USD in QBO until we exchange the funds and are recording as a journal entry. Example: We exchanged $100,000.00 USD from our US account and then deposited $134,000.00 into our CAD account. The Journal entry we used is as follows: Credit USD Bank account $100,000.00Debit CAD Bank account $134,000.00 Credit Exchange Gain / Loss $34,00.00 This is showing as a negative on my P & L, but the $34,000.00 is a gain and not a negative. Should my journal entry be different?
error message trying to re subscribe to QuickBooks online
I'm having trouble understanding the proper way to track taxes collected from my POS (square) in QuickBooks. I have the proper taxes set up automatically in QBO, which are GST and PST for my location (Canada, BC). When transactions are imported from Square, QBO shows a line "included in total collected: Sales Tax" which shows the proper tax collected from that sale, but when matched with the deposit in my bank, this tax goes into an account titled "Square Sales Tax Payable" and not into the QBO GST account. How to I get this to go into the tax account instead? Most of my products are GST-only, but some will charge PST in the future, I am assuming at this point that they will be combined by QBO into one "included in total collected" tax category. How will I separate these out into the different tax accounts?
Hi,We need to return an accountant's copy file back to our client. Apparently something changed with QuickBooks in the past few weeks since we took the file from the client..? I no longer have the option to return it. Instead I get this warning message, "Accountants Copy File Transfer is no longer available for this version of QuickBooks".This is super frustrating that QB did not manage their changes better. We are now caught in the loop with apparently no option other than to redo our entries in a new file. It would be much better if the client could not send the file in the first place, rather than getting this far with things, and now we are unable to send it back. Just my thoughts. Does anyone have any suggestions for a work around?Thank you.
Are there other apps in Canada that accept US Cards I can be pointed towards instead?
I have received my assessment and need to enter CPP, and Income tax owing as well as interest. Where/how do I do this?
I added a made up company to access my suppliers, but it will only allow me to do this once and then the screen comes back to the 'Keep Track of who you pay'.
The error says: "We cannot open this fileA problem has occurred."
Good afternoon,I see that Pro Tax is not yet available for use with Quebec forms, but is there information or a timeline on when this will become available? Thanks!

I process payroll for 2 companies. Direct Deposit paystub benefits for one show both sick & vacation used/remaining but the other companies' paystubs only show sick benefits. How can I correct it so employees can see their figures for both benefits?
Logged in to create an invoice, and address log of previous customers and repeat were not there.
