Hello All , this feature used to work , but its broken , just nothing happens when clicking he sort by and then name or memo button its always sorted by date .. this is way over a year now , and we cant work like that . only way it to export to a spreadhseet and reformat in order to sort by different columns we need help urgently
I've recently made a minor change to my chart of accounts but this is not being reflected in the new annual accounts (under Workpapers section). The change is showing in the normal balance sheet reports but not in the annual accounts that I want to submit to HMRC. Is there a way to refresh these accounts so they pick up the change and categorise the cost correctly? Thanks
Having put in the dates (the last 6 months) and selected Weekly, QBO defaults their Week to be the US norm of Sunday to Saturday which confuses the results. I can't see anywhere that I can change this to the more normal UK version of the week. Any help would be appreciated.

I've used Quickbooks Desktop for 25 years and am now having to adjust to Quickbooks Online. The sort order of the QB Online A/P Age Details report defaults to being the reverse sort order of QB Desktop. How can this be changed to match QB Desktop's sort order as its very frustrating.
It's very odd that QB seems to be the ONLY accounts package that I've ever seen that reports in this way without any option to show invoices in A/R Report by date raised.
Another day, another QB issue, why oh why do they continue to "upgrade" the platform.A simple task. All SalesClick the ACTION icon to download All Transactions into a CSV file.As of today, no longer works.I hate the new format that when you click on a sale it no longer takes you in to the invoice, it means extra clicks every time i want to view an invoice.I Hate the fact that payment transactions now appear in All Salesand now i Hate that simple functions in the platform no longer work.Hate the fact that i cannot email support to get a direct answer, instead i have to sit and wait for a community to sugar coat my issues and imply it is my computer, or my cache, or my internet etc.etc.Totally fed up with this company.
I want to be able to enter journals on the last day of a month and have them automatically reverse on the first day of the next month. Is there a facility to do this automatically or will I need to do it manually?
Let's say on 31/03/23 I receive a supplier invoice or "bill" for £1,000 which I intend to recharge to a customer. On 01/04/23 I raise that invoice and add the billable expense to the invoice. If I run the "unbilled charges" report to 31/03/23, then it isn't showing on the report, but I want it to, because as at 31/03/23, it was unbilled (it was only billed the day after).Any report I can run that will actually get this to work?
Thanks for your help, I'm working for a small charity and I'm not a qualified accountant so any help gratefully received!
Early this month May-2023, I ran a report or some view in QBO that allowed me to export a list to excel of bills with a count of attachments. My purpose for this is to sanity check that I have attached supplier bills to all transactions in QBO before my end of year accounting! Can I find this again? Nope! Either the report/view no longer exists can anyone confirm ? or I just can't find it! Can anyone point me in the right direction ? ThanksSteve
Current layout of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet statements are meaningless to me as they do not help me with management decisions. i need to change the layout of these, if not in the actual program then to have them exported to excel and change the excel sheet from there. i do not wish having to do this everytime i need to make a decision, is there any way that an excel sheet can be designed so that future sheets can simply be imported into the saved format?I used to be able to design these statements to my preferences in desktop version but this facility is not available on online version. A regressive step!
we would like to reorder the PL account from the order it is produced in QBO
We have a customer who we provide with products and invoice them.On occasion they provide a service, which they invoice us for.If they have an outstanding invoice payable to us, they deduct this from what they owe.E.g. We invoice £1000 We use service to value of £400. They pay us remaining £600. How do we correctly record this as a separate customer and supplier account would show the invoice they owe us as open.
I have also closed my books for 22/23, but there is no drop down option to see this current year?
moved from QB desktop using MMB and bank balances were correct now the open balances have disappeared so cant reconcile
every report defaults to the modern style. i prefer the classic style and have to change each report.
My accountant has picked up that my sales on my profit and loss are the gross figures but should be the net. How do I do this when using the Flat rate scheme?
