Unticking PDF Attached in SALES FORM TYPE in Customer invoices, results in no PDF being attached to Supplier Remittance emails. Has anyone else experienced this? We unticked PDF for customer invoices so we want customers to view the online version of their invoice so we see they viewed the invoice. However this results in remittance advice for Suppliers not sending. Surely both modules are completely seperate.
Many merchant accounts use an account called “reserve” or rolling reserve" account, where they put a certain part of your income to cover chargebacks and refunds. How should i account for this? Normally i would split the arrived settlement into sales and processing fees paid but how should i handle this reserve, to wich account should i make an entry with it?
Hello I've just signed up for the self employed version of QuickBooks. Last financial year I kept income & expenditure statements in google sheets and have imported the full year. However, i've noticed that QuickBooks has rounded up my income. For self-assessment is this ok as I would have thought I would have needed to submit the exact amount e.g. £1,111.11 not £1,112. Can anyone advise me please? Many thanks Elizabeth

I have a problem with our company logo on the remittance form when sending direct from QB the logo is ultra zoomed and cuts off half the page. We have the one logo uploaded and do not have this issue for any other forms we send from QB such as invoices etc. Looks to be a glitch in QB - anyone else have this issue or know how to fix. Have tried to remove and reupload the logo multiple times to no avail. TIA
Hi, I have been having trouble this morning customising an Audit report. I am seemingly unable to untick 'Expense reimbursements', 'Employer liabilities', and 'Pay run tasks' on both the Summary detail and Employee detail columns. When I untick these and Run report they simply reappear. This is the first time it has happened.Any help would be appreciated.Cheer, Jordan.
Hi I create estimates for all of my sales and find it really useful. I find the Estimates & Progress Invoicing Summary by Customer report invaluable, but I would like to filter the report by estimate status as i dont want to see closed and rejected ones. Any clues? I am on Plus plan
I have a number of projects which are capitalised but are intangible assets why can I not create an intangible in QB?
Can I set the profit and loss data and graph to this fiscal year?
Is it possible to add a stock status bt supplier report. This would make life so much easier when coming to re-order stock. I know you can export a CSV file and then go through it in Excel but a stock status by supplier within QB would be far quicker. The addition of a filter that would allow the report to show only items out of stock or below minimum stock level would be even better. When I used QB desktop many years ago this was an option
I want to export my receipts for years older than 3 years but am not able to do this as a zip folder. I can see all these transactions and manually save the receipts for this time period so I know they are there, but can't download when I try to export receipts. I need for the years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. Can anyone help? Thanks, Emma
Hi,I am self employed, not a Limited company.I donate to my local church from my business and put under charitable donations, but my church isn't a charity and I have learnt that these expenses are on my balance sheet as an expense and I don't think they should be.How and what should these be under in chart of accounts and am I allowed to donate to a non charity through my business account? I will put this right depending what it is. Thanks
I am wanting to start using QBO from 1 April for all transactions but (other than bank balances) won't know the opening balances until the old year accounts (pre QBO) have been balanced and closed off in a few weeks time. How best to handle this please?
Presumably after the accounts are finaliszd there are entries to claim the relief on corporation tax otherwise payable; this is at 130% of the cap expenditure
