I'm trying to separate out any expenses that cannot be offset against corporation tax so that this can be more easily deduced from the P&L report
I've upgraded from quickbooks SE to quickbooks online and what a badly integrated, time consuming shambles that was!. I only stayed with it as I wanted to use the mileage tracker on the app. When I tried to use the mileage tracker, which worked great in SE, it constantly threw errors and wouldn't work so I phoned quickbooks and they just said 'yeah, it doesn't work, our engineers are working on it'! which is the standard line they use for everything that doesn't work. Anyway I was cross so left a poor review on play store where they gave me a link which says the the mileage tracker should work....so does it work or doesn't it?
incorrect date on reconcilation
how do i record this as it asks for bank account but loan was paid direct
how do i show an invoice as paid when the loan company has paid it
I want to see my profit and loss for each tax year based on the invoices raised in that tax year, regardless of whether they've been paid or not. How can I do this? I am relatively new to QBSE and I have invoiced clients previous to using this software. Can I upload these invoices to QB or do I need to raise replacement ones via QB? Thank you!
The choosing by Feed of a name can lead me to accept that match. But looking at the statemnt I find that the name does not appear against that payment. Si I have to check each one. So what is the point of the feed?
I am looking for a report that will allow me to see what VAT is attached to my debtors and creditors as at the year end. I have tried the customise reports and filtering by A/R Paid and A/P Paid, but that only reflects whether they have been paid as at today's date or not. I basically want to run my Aged debtors report and be able to select a VAT column. My client has various VAT rates on both purchases and sales so not as straight forward as just applying 20% VAT. There doesn't appear to be a way of reconciling the VAT account when preparing the year end accounts from QuickBooks Online when a client is on cash accounting for VAT. I know there is a VAT reconciliation feature on Xero which allows you to reconcile the VAT at any given date allowing you to prove a VAT balance. Is there nothing similar in QuickBooks Online? Any help would be much appreciated. Regards, Josh
