Hello, In March of 2023, we converted from QB Desktop (Enterprise) with QB Point of Sale to QB Online. Long story short ~ currently our Inventory Valuation seems about right, but our Balance Sheet shows our inventory being more than $200,000 higher than our Inventory Valuation. I'm sure it's somehow related to the fact that our inventory was grossly inflated after conversion because, as I discovered too late, Purchase Orders transferred over in the conversion but "Held" Sales Receipts did not, so QBO knew we had purchased a bunch of inventory but it didn't know we had sold it. In trying to fix those inventory issues shortly after the conversion, I'm sure I screwed things up even further, since I'm a business owner and not an accountant, and admittedly, I didn't know what I was doing. All of that to ask this question: In trying to figure things out, I'm looking for a report that simply shows me what my total purchases of inv

I wanted to print 2023 P&L with actuals and forecast? How do I do that?
My books are a mess. When I received direct deposit payments for invoices I also categorized them. i think this doubled the income. I know now to match the payments.
In the cash flow tab two options appear, Overview as QuickBooks Cash. but tha cash flow planner is not shown.
I'm confused with the idea of assigning a Transaction Type to credit card payment from a bank institution in quickbooks online. There are a total of 4 types of transaction types. These are Expense, Transfer, Check & Credit Card Payment. It will make logical sense to assign it to Credit Card Payment, but I'm still confused. I'm confused because this can also be classified as a Transfer correct? Is there a definition for Expense, Transfer, Check & Credit Card Payment?
Quickbooks Online keeps crashing as I am working on my bank statement as of November 24 and November 25, 2023.
Currently my invoices don't have a field for shipping? My sales receipts do have one and am just not sure how to get one for my invoices?
We've successfully imported over 147 Products and Services items that include the correct accounts type, taxable (YES), and price. After the import the items show up in the P&S section but they are not available for us to use when inside an invoice.
Greetings! I'm getting frustrated with the limited options in QB Online standard BvA reports. I have budgets set up for customers. I can pull the BvA by customer report, BUT I also need to option to filter the report by Class, which is not available. Does anyone know a work around or a different way I can do this? I tried to build a custom report by adding columns but looks like QB Online does not allow me to pull in any columns from the budget... which is just baffling to me. Am I missing something? Why in the world would I not be able to access my budgets from the CUSTOM reports menu?
Why do not all sent invoices show they have been viewed even when they have been viewed by the customer?
When the customers pays a check that matches the invoice exactly, quickbook matches the two. Yet in this case, we were unsure where to move the funds to eventually apply to the invoices. Appreciate any insights. thanks
