Products & Services shows Open PO quantities when PO is not open. The only accurate numbers are the 2 POs I have circled in blue. And please do not recommend the "clear your cache fix" - that does not work. I tried different platforms - Windows, Mac, desktops, phones, tablets, apps and browsers. The numbers are all the same and incorrect. I've deleted, added, received against again. No fixes. Please help with something that works. This has been going on for the entire year I have used QBO.
Tried to use QBO Chat - was given a phone # to call that wasn't Qbooks.
In 2025 I'm wanting to start working on some reports to start seeing bottlenecks Is there a way, hopefully without going through OBDC where I can get a transaction journal of all inventory items regardless of part number? Mainly wanting to see when something was bought in relation to something was built, age of ingredient it was built, cost basis on a category grouping, etc. So, I figure if I had a date ranged list, where I can see where it's purchased, for how much, added to inventory, removed for build, etc. I could build on top of it. I'm not an accountant, but kind of like audit trail for inventory?
I have been using the Custom Invoice Template for the longest period of time up until 10 days ago when the custom invoice template is not being applied when Creating Invoice from Estimate or Creating a New Invoice. The invoice template reverts to the Standard quickbooks invoice template when i click on 'Print and preview'!! QB helpdesk had tested my custom invoice template and noted no exceptions. They informed it could be a backend problem and affecting many users and are investigating. Is the backend team working expeditiously to remedy the situation?? Anyone else facing the same issue? Thank you.
While working with a customer we damaged one of the parts so we needed to replace it for him. So how do we treat these parts as warranty? We bought the original part, we need to repurchase the same part to replace the previous damaged part. How do we deal with this?
I have spent countless hours with QB Online Advanced Help and still spinning my wheels. We are undergoing a large reporting project where I need to be able to export all of my projects information for a time period into Excel so then I can slice and dice it how I want. We use the Project Name as the unique identifier so then we can tie everything together in Excel. I can pull all Invoice and Payment information and the Project Name will tie to it appropriately. However, the expenses/checks will not. I've tried multiple support agents and they all end up back at the same conclusion - QB can't export or tie that data together in a report. This is bananas to me because I know the system ties it together because I can pull a Project Profitability Summary report that ties everything together, the Projects functionality itself is built on the fact you can tie expenses and income together under a project. I am praying one of you QB ninjas will be able
IE. a customer finances their invoice with the bank for a no-interest financing plan and the dealer (our company) gets charged a dealer fee (discount rate) by the bank to offer that plan to the consumer. We in turn get deducted that fee upon receiving payment from the bank and only receive a portion of the amount originally invoiced. Right now, I am entering it as a discount on the customer 'sales receipt'. However, I do not like that because it shows up as a 'discount given' on the P

I have both a business and a personal account in one bank. I got behind in my bank recs due to an illness. I just discovered that two customer payments were put into my personal account in error in November of 2019. Now here I am in April of 2020 and I have to transfer these balances from my personal account to my business account. How do I deal with this in QB?
I can see it, but the feature is not live. Also, I cant get through to chat on help. Any other recommendations. Thank you
How do I connect with a real person to discuss a QBOL billing error?
Is there a way that I can send a paid invoice when I have check in hand before I can link the transaction in QBS? I work with real estate transactions and I need to send paid invoice immediately before waiting a day or so for the transaction to show up i hope my question is clear
$1,000 is for speaking fees while $843.50 is for travel expenses. How should I split that out?
For example, I ordered 2 of one item. I created a bill for it so there were 2 in inventory. The other day I sold both of them and made a sales receipt, but for some reason I am still seeing both of them in inventory.
Using QB online advanced. Would appreciate insight in how to create P&L type report by customer type. We have multiple Customer Types representing different Lines of Business so seeing the Revenue and COGS by each LOB is an important metric.
Why on earth would QB Online take it upon itself to enter several asterisks in invoice numbers in the Description field on printed reports? Some of our departments need to be able to refer to the correct invoice. I will add a combined screenshot. Lisa
Quickbooks has prebuilt management reports, called Company Overview, Sales Performance, and Expense Performance. Is there any way to delete these from the system?
