Hi,When I click on the customer tab to see my open invoices - the amount of open invoices it says I have has doubled over night. It seems like Quickbooks is counting each invoice twice and also counting every line on the invoice as another open invoice. I'm not sure why this changed since I only have 217 invoices open but it now saying I have 485. Is this a new feature to count every service on the invoice as a new open invoice? I prefered it when it just counted the invoice as one open invoice no matter how many services were on the invoice. I'm sorry if this is confusing - just wondering why the change?
Does anyone know how to correct the AR aging report. The B/S and COA are correct but the aging is out of balance. If I post an J/E to try and correct, it throws the other reports out of balance.
On my item screen and my inventory report, there is a column for the "Purchase Date". The column is blank and I don't know where it is supposed to populate from. Does anyone know? Thanks for your help! Jack
As Soon as I created the invoice and clicked to Preview it before sending g, it was marked as partially paid. It said money would be in my account in a few days, but I have not received it.

The credit card processing fee from paying through the invoices were 3.4%+$0.25. When is it considered as invoiced where we can get the invoiced, 2.9%+$0.25 rate?
Hi,I have a QBO file with a fairly complex matrix of billable expense and income accounts. Is there anywhere where I can view these accounts as a spreadsheet or similar view? Clicking into each account individually is a drag. If there's not... feature request!!! Thanks for your assitanceJoe
We are a company that has been in business for 5 years, and have transitioned to QuickBooks this year. The company has an outstanding loan to an external company (monies loaned several years ago) and has collected payments against this loan this year. How best can we set up this loan in QB so that it has a starting balance, and then, against which, we can apply payments as they come in? This is a simple, no-interest loan with no ties to invoices or services from the company, so we will only record deposits from it. Thanks in advance.
How can i print a list of the "Billing" and "Shipping" addresses for Projects in QBO? I have tried every report and every list, only prints these addresses for Customers, but not Projects!
how to change a sales receipt account
I have been paying the bills online but recently not able to make any bill pay.
I was entering the credit card for customer 1 payments, but it somehow attached to customer 2 and has it saved as a form of payment, I can't find any way to remove the credit card from customer 2
We do not like the new update to invoices.
The new style won't print from the mobile app and I need to return to the old style invoices
how do i create a purchase order when a customer wants to order something from me. not an invoice or estimate
One of my files which is Essentials has the report Invoices & Received Payments:The other file/company that is Plus does NOT have the needed report:This is backwards, why would Essentials have a report at a lower subscription level than the higher Plus subscription? I need this report. Yes, I've gone to Edge instead of Chrome, and yes I've opened my QuickBooks account in a private window to rule out browser-related issues. The problem still persists.
How can I change COGS Account Number for parts we sell without QB changing the account number for retroactive transactions? We want the change to be effective going forward.
Alright, I am still learning. This is what I got from our tax accountants. Can someone PLEASE help me, figure out how to debit/credit this into a journal entry. I am in school for this and just struggling with the chapter in and of itself. Thanks in advance!
Sometimes when creating a new project I am unable to add anything to it (invoices, estimates, bills), and it will be stuck with the error message "Your project is getting ready. Check back soon to see when it's ready." After checking back hours later the project will still be stuck with this message. I am assuming this is not working as intended. How can I stop this from happening?
My boss used our company card to make a purchase he is going to pay for out of his own pocket. Is it possible for us to have him pay the credit card directly and not enter either the charge or the payment in QBO? Or will that mess up our reconciliation? If I can't do that, should I record the expense to a miscellaneous expense category, then have him pay the company and record that as a credit to the same expense category? Are there any other options to make this less complicated?
We create estimates for larger contract jobs, and use the estimates vs. actuals report constantly and it works great for $ amounts. But for assessing "where we are" in a project, it would be helpful to have a report that shows estimated vs actual labour hours. Right now the only way we've been able to do that is manually looking at the hours on the estimate and comparing that to the "time by job" report. Is there a report we haven't come across that will do this?
Is there a straightforward way to adjust the cash basis receivables balance showing in a cash basis report?
For 6 of last 8 months, the reconciliation shows end balance same as bank statement and thus zero difference. Immediately go to Reports>Company&Financial>Balance Sheet Standard. The balance is low, because checks which were not cleared in reconciliation are shown, and calculated, as cleared. Was using QB Premier Non-profit 2019. Thought there might be a glitch, so bought QB Premier Non-profit 2021 and restored from the last month when the QB Balance Sheet, reconciliation and bank statement all matched. Same problem. Any ideas?
