When I snap an invoice it does not pick up the invoice #. Is there a way to set this up so that you do not have to type the invoice number in after you upload it?

If I understood my attorney correctly, the bad data was an unfortunate software error. Your refusal to apply the tools, that you acknowledged Intuit possesses, to fix it is falsifying business records. I'd like your full name to process a criminal complaint against you. Keep hiding it if you want every Abigail to be deposed because of your criminality. You can keep trying to ignore this. See what happens. In fact, go with that, because I know Intuit will hang you out to dry in a second. I don't care if you get punished for your crimes and theirs. It's not like you see dignity in other human beings. The world will be safer and happier with you in prison.
Hello All, I have 22 QB Enterprise Edition (desktop). I gave a user access to the advance report. But the user gets access denied. (me as admin or another user with full access this feature works)Does a user need certain access to use advance reporting, or as long as advance reporting is added they should be good to use it? I have talked to QB, and chatted with QB and no one can help me figure this out.Steps tried.1. rebuild data - still issue2. duplicated the user to see if new user - same issue3. create a new user with just advance report - same issue Any help would be apprecaited.
For example, we're a non-profit basketball booster club. If a player registration is $150, and the Venmo fee is $5.00, we are essentially getting paid $145. If I record as if they paid $145, the invoice still shows they owe $5.00. What's the best way to handle that, and for that $5.00 to show on our "Venmo Fee" expense account?
Right now I have multiple invoices that were paid via credit card and marked as paid (payment). But then when that credit card payment is deposited into my bank account automatically it is recorded as a 2nd income. How do I link the 2 without deleting the deposit or the credit card payment?
The problem is Quickbooks is recording all income as cashflow and is not adjusting it out. I purchased a property. The seller collected rent. These rents get paid to me on the closing statement but as a reduction in what I pay to the seller. How do I record these rents in Quickbooks:1) They need to show up as Rental Income for tax purposes2) They are a non-cash transaction so do not impact cashflow or the balance in my checking account. The problem is when I record the rents as Rental Income Quickbooks counts it as cashflow even no cash was exchanged. I tried setting up a Current Asset as Rents Collected. Then I moved the Rents Collected to Rental Income thinking Quickbooks would do an adjustment in Income comes from a Current Asset but this did not happen. Now I am stumped how to do this. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
One minute, they will not save when we click 'Save', or 'Save and Send'. The invoice or estimate just freezes. We close out and have to start over.. 1 out of 3 tries it will actually save. This has been happening since yesterday morning, 9/25

I am part of a non-profit org that rents out our Venue. I am trying to find a way to track all income and expenses for reporting purposes. I tried using projects but information only shows up in "Transactions". Our deposits made to not show up in the reports. I tried using Tags but found that you cannot Tag Journal vouchers which we do when we move money from Current Liabilities (Deposits Held) to Realized Revenue. I tried to add classes but was not able to do it on individual transactions. I am currently trying to use Category/SubCategory but I cannot get it to work either. In Chart of Accounts we use "Returnable Sec Deposits", "Venue Manager Fee", "Deposits Held", "Marketing", "Janitorial Contract" etc to enter our deposits/expenses. What is a easy way to identify and report Venue Rental Income/Expenses.
Under current assets on Balance sheet it shows Inventory line item and then Purchase Return line item with a negative value. This is an amazon reseller who purchased inventory, listed it on Amazon, and then sold a product but then that product was returned by the end customer back to Amazon. Should "Purchase Return" category stay negative and roll forward on the books or should it be zeroed out? If the latter, how should it be zeroed out? Journal entry against inventory value?

When going to Expenses > Bills > Paid...Why are some of the cells blank for my vendor names?See attachment.When I click in the column it takes me to the Vendor and sometimes it is a vendor that is showing elsewhere in the Vendor column...???I cannot seem to find the reason why some cells are blank, but the others populate with vendor name. Again, some blank cells are vendors that are appearing elsewhere in the Vendor column.Thank you,
I can see all the invoiced services, but two sales reciepts have snuck into the P&L report inflating it.
Hello everyone. As you already know, Quickbooks online does not currently have a commission tracker. So I need to have a way of sending out invoices to customers. Then also have a way to track the commission the sales rep made for that invoice, that will be calculated later in profits and losses. The thing that is tricky is, not all the sales people get the same commission percentage. Also, some are on a payroll that also get sales commission while others simply just get paid commission. Any ideas on how to get through this?
