So I feel as though I have a very unique question(s). I am currently reviewing Quickbooks Desktop:If I have a customer, let's call him John Smith, am I able to link a vendor, let's call her Jane Doe, to this customer? So if John Smith makes a payment to me, the portion of the money he paid will actually go towards Jane Doe when a check is written? Further to that question, say I want to take 10% of the John Smith payment and keep it for the company as a surcharge payment. So I would in turn have something like this:~John Smith (ultimately will be paying the vendor Jane Doe, back directly, but payments will come through my company.~With the $100 payment that John Smith paid, am I able to link Jane Doe directly to my customer John Smith? ~Further, if I only want $90.91 to go to Jane Doe and the balance of the $9.09 to go to my company as a surcharge for being the middle man, can I/ how do I set something like this up?Thanks in advance!Kalee
I've upgraded my account to essential, which has the currency added.
The credit card details boxes in QB online do not appear to work with anyone from a country other than Canada. I have a person from the UAE who wants us to use her credit card for her quarterly subscription. How do I do this?
Sales sheet comes in each day we record it something like this: DR Sales Clearing CR SalesWhen the money comes in DR bankCR sales Clearing-We record the cash sales however on a spreadsheet, so each day whatever the sales sheet shows usis CASH we record it. Then each day the CASH is deposited into the bankSo end of month we have a list of each cash sale and each depositIf the cash deposited for the month is OVER what should the transaction be?DR over n underCR sales clearing? If the Cash is under should it be?DR sales clearingDR over n under? I"m confusing myself.
My client is a health services professional who typically invoices her clients in arrears. She may not invoice her clients until after several appointments, but the invoice lists each appointment with the actual date the service was provided shown. Is there a way for QuickBooks Desktop to recognize the revenue on the Date shown on the invoice for each line item, not the Invoice date. For example, say she sees a client on January 15th, February 15th and March 15th. After the March 15th session she gives the client a single invoice with all three sessions listed - each session is listed on a separate line with the actual date. The invoice is dated March 15th. How do I get the January revenue recognized in January, the February revenue recognized in February and only the March revenue recognized in March. Thanks
What good is hiding all of this information from them on the dashboard when they can just go into the Sales tab and click on Invoices and see it all right there?!?
