I didn't file or submit a W2 for my 2023 taxes (for myself). I am my only employee and I run payroll for myself. How can I do that and is it too late?
I have never had to file these forms before, what is a good source for this filing
Hi I can connect or download my timeline history. How can I integrate that with QuickBooks?
When I entered one of the CARES tax credits it put that amount back into my payroll liabilities, showing it as past due. Is there a way to clear this out? It shows it was due in 2023.
Please help, Having issues actually getting in touch with Intuit support. The number I have reached through Intuit is sending me to India with the common scam "you have corrupt files, but we can fix online for only $600 and 3 hours on your computer through team viewer". I have attempted to use the help "talk to a real person" and get a message that this service is unavailable. I filed 10-99s, but only 1/2 were actually filed. When attempting to file additional 10-99s, there is no option to select the remaining vendors which has led to my attempts to get help through Intuit. Does anyone have an actual phone number or way to contact Intuit for assistance with this? Thank you!
I was using QuickBooks payroll premium when I hired my first full time employee. They were processing payroll along with quarterly withholding taxing and everything else to do with payroll. About a year in I was notified by nys that my with holding taxes were not paid. I contacted qb and they said the money was sent to the wrong account and they would resolve this issue. I assumed it was taken care of since I never heard from qbo or the state again. Another year later nys contacted me stating that there was 6 consecutive quarters that payroll withholding taxes were not completed paid. The paperwork qbo sent over was correct only a partial payment of the withholding taxes were paid. Upon further investigation qbo took the correct amount of money from my bank but at the end of the quarter They sent the balance of withholding taxes to the states sales tax department by mistake. It’s been 8 months of going back and forth, my license is now suspended and there is a levy on

I've been trying all night to do my taxes; I've used quickbooks the last few years and REALLY want to find an alternative because of stuff like this but here we are. My bank transactions just won't show me anything past November 2024. Quickbooks also won't allow me to unlink & relink my bank account. When I tried to reach out to customer service through the chat box, they said that help wasn't available. Please help. After this tax season I'm 100% done with this platform. Quickbooks makes it hard to do literally anything on here, yet jacks up the price every few months.
Tried to login to Turbo Tax for 2024, response, updates needed. Click on update and get a failed error code 1603. after that program does not respond or do anything, have to Ctrl, Alt, and Delete to close program and log back in. Failed Error means i cannot use the TT program. How do i get past this failed update and back into TT?
Using QB Online and Auto Payroll, but I file Local Tax myself.
I pay monthly for the QB Self Employed Tax Bundle and the description of this plan says that federal and state filing is included. So I don't understand why it's trying to charge me. I've had the same bundle plan for a handful of years and don't recall ever paying to file before.
send a copy of my quickbooks to my accountant
QuickBooks is breaking up the New Mexico Tax into State Tax, County Tax, and City Tax. When I pay sales tax in NM the entire rate goes to the ONE specific tax location, it is not broken up into three, which means the sales tax report it worthless when trying to calculate and pay my sales taxes. Also, QuickBooks never pulls a straight county tax, so it appears it only pulls on the zip code which pulls the higher city tax rate, however, most of our work is in rural county tax code areas. Does this mean that I need to do my NM sales tax manually and enter and correct my own rates? Is QuickBooks going to fix this issue for the State of NM for their automated tax rates?
I accidentailly added in materials rembursment in to one of my sub contractors 1099s. I have corrected the transactions but when I try to submit it I get this error: Correcting the recipient name or TIN is currently unavailable. We are actively working to enable this feature. I am not trying to change the name or TIN. Does anyone know what to do?
Has anyone else experienced a recent change with how sales tax is imported from square into QuickBooks. The automated sales tax feature in QuickBooks online has always worked smoothly for me until last month. And now QuickBooks isn’t calculating sales tax correctly. I think it’s an issue with how transactions are being imported.
How do I make the program understand the tax payment was for the previous year.
I am seeing other expenses not related to vehicle but I'm worried it's not showing others because of it.
How do I get a call back from a live person ?
Is there a way, and if so, how do you import data from Quickbooks Online into Turbotax online for tax purposes? I figure I'm not going to like the response I receive in asking, seeing how many people have complained about a similar request. I have a small business I started last year and entered all of my info into Quickbooks Online. I'm starting the filing process for my 2023 taxes with Turbotax online. I'm not seeing a way to import the data from QBO into TT online. Surely a corporation that shares both software titles has incorporated a simple way of bringing this information into one place? With the ridiculous cost of both programs, you should be able to simply import the data. If not, will I have to do it manually and transfer all of the information? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
